Great little game. The fish move up and down and as they do this their mouths open and close, all while the whole thing spins. The aim is to use the mini fishing rods and catch the fish (in case this wasn't obvious enough) and it works surprisingly well. My son just turned 3 and it was hard for him to catch anything at first but he still had fun. I was naturally a pro at it ;) but it's harder than it looks in a good way.The only issue I have with it is the sound. It plays a tune over and over again which is understandable but it's loud and there isn't an option to turn the sound down or off. You could place some sellotape over the speaker but it really should have the option to change the volume of the sound, like a lot of the fisher price and vtech toys do.Overall, I was pleasantly surprised by how much fun this was. Great as a party game and for young children's hand eye coordination.

First one I received didn't work so was returned, second one works fine, tunes on it can get very repetitive it's a pity you can't just turn the sound down or off, my 3 year old granddaughter loves it but sometimes has trouble catching the fish with the little rods and hooks as she's not quick enough but she improvises and grabs the fish with her hand, good fun little game for toddlers

On arrival the box was a little worse for wear.It was bought for a four year old who seemed please with it. The instructions on the box raised a few laughs, "come hear now it will show you how to fish "The only problem with it is, the music is very loud and there is no way to stop it when playing the game. Luckily it has gone to his house , and i dont think his parents enjoy it as much as he does.

Not built to last but good fun. Two rods tangled together on day 1 and 1 snapped so down to only 3 rods! Easy to play and enjoyable though

Lovely looking game with pleasant musicIt's not very easy to catch the fish though - definitely not for younger children!It might be easier if the fishing rods had firmer / heavier pieces of rope on them

We had a travel size one of these , my 5 year old stepdaughter loved it but it broke in a day as it was over wound . She said Santa might bring a better one .We've tried this out and no winding , we use Amazon's rechargeable batteries, so no batteries to buy . It plays nursery rhyme music which could have done with a volume control , bright and colorful . It's a lovely bright fish shape and well made . Most highly recommend **********

My little sister really enjoyed this game, but it's a shame that the fish open their mouths in a pattern, so it's easy to predict which one will open its mouth.

Something different! 3 year old loves this...although prefers when the batteries are running a bit so it goes slower..bless! Worth every penny.
