Worked well in Europe; recommend using direct calling instead of callback mode
Used this for a recent trip to Switzerland, Austria and Hungary. I had some issues when I first put in the SIM card while still at home (in the US), but one call to the support number resolved this (something about it taking longer to connect to the AT&T 4G network, so switching to 3G and rebooting allowed for immediate activation/connection). The $10 free credit was already in my account once the phone connected to the network. Note that this credit *does not* qualify you for the free What'sApp feature - to get that, you need to pay to reload the account, and the minimum amount is $25We used this SIM card primarily for calling our European cell phone (an Orange Holiday SIM) and for texting between the two phones. I recommend reading the accompanying manual and the website carefully. While it's possible and cheaper to use the callback feature, you can make the phone use direct calling, which is far more convenient to use, especially if you're sharing the phone with other family members. (On the iPhone, do this by going Settings -> Phone -> SIM Applications -> Callback). The app will show you the price difference between callback and direct calling, but since we were using this phone only for short calls and we already had the $10 credit, I just stuck with direct calling.

Don't waste your money
Worst. It never registered smoothly on network in Istanbul, every time I tried to make a call or if anyone tried to call it never workwd. Free Whatsapp for first month didn't work as well.

Excellent card. Fantastic app
Tried it in Canada and USA for a week. Worked very well with decent LTE mostly. Was less excited about their callback method, so I used skype for calling. It is possible to switch to direct calls (using the SIM toolkit) but in most countries it costs more. So if you are mainly interested in data and occasional calls this card is perfect. If you're a frequent caller, worth checking alternatives.Keep in mind that activating a package requires internet, so expect to be charged some extra money (per-MB) for the initial usage after landing (unless you have WIFI in the airport) just for sorting out the activation. Also keep an eye about expiration of packages and activate a bit ahead of time to avoid excessive charge. The app is fantastic. Makes the whole difference to my opinion. Giving you complete data about expiration and usage.Umlimited packages are reasonable only for short periods (1-2 weeks). For longer periods I would use their new limited packages or consider local SIM.Also liked that the default number is a US phone number rather than a Ukrainian or Latvian, as in other cards. And also liked the optiom to purchase local numbers for many other countrues. Will try again in Italy. Hoping it will work there just as well.

Falls short of expectations.
I had high hopes for this SIM card. I travel internationally, a lot, and I’ve been looking for an all inclusive card I could just recharge on the go. Although this promotes itself as the ultimate SIM card, it falls way short.Pros-when you buy the card you get a $10 creditCons- The plans and rates changed after I registered the SIM card. When I researched this card before buying it, there were regional plans available for $11 just for Europe, America and Asia. After I registered the card, the lowest cost plan was $25 for global use.Data is off and on. I’m using it in the Philippines and it’s next to worthless. I’ve used other cards in the past, and they worked fine.To expensive. The plans have limited time and limited data for the way over priced rates.Summary, not worth the plastic it’s made from.

It works for me
I was extremely wary about purchasing this; based on the review but this worked for me. I travel a lot and constantly going to T-Mobile for tourist sim cards was getting annoying. My co-worker recommended this and because of a short notice; I ended up buying the more expensive one from Amazon (the official website sells these for like $3 with a coupon). The sim card gave no issues until the data stopped working randomly. That was because the plan had ended but it didn't alert me. I had to connect to Wi-Fi and refill the wallet but it was all good after that. A good tip is to turn off your data roaming if you aren't using it because there are leaks and you can find yourself having to refill your wallet way more than you need to. Headed to Mexico in a few day...I hope it works there too.

Great for WhatApp! not everything else.
For a trip within 30 days you’ll get unlimited WhatsApp usage. After 30 days it’ll use the prepaid credit towards WhatsApp data usage. Includes texts, photos, video calling.Phone calls: call back feature that I don’t use. But it gives you a USA number and you can set up call forwarding to that. Just in case someone calls your primary phone it will fwd to your knowroaming #. Calling rates differ per country.Tell all the important people to you that you’ll be contact to download WhatsApp. Set up WhatsApp with your primary #. Not knowroaming #You have to install a profile to use the data roaming. REMOVE PROFILE WHEN RETURNING HOME. If you don’t, your data won’t work on your existing home carrier ( AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile,etc).When traveling Go to settings, cellular, shut off data for all apps except WhatsApp.

I travel worldwide
The product doesn't truly work in enough countries. Africa as a continent is very limited even though other systems work very well.

Great Global Service and rates.
Works great in Quito Ecuador on Movistar towers. Also runs great in Alabama and Georgia on AT&T towers. Tech support is fast with follow up and support on Android's platform. Will test in Italy and France in the next 6 months and will update the review. $3.99 a day unlimited is the least expensive I have seen for a travel SIM.
