Please follow pack advice depending on where vegetables are planted. Kind Regards Technical Advisory **Q: How do you use this for house plants? Do I wet it first then add to soil or add to soil then water the plant. Thank you** A: You mix it into the soil, plant your plants like you would normally do and water the first time till very wet! Once gel has taken the moist it will release it over a longer period of time. It works a treat! I also use a half handful around the roots of the plants extra just to make sure! Went on holiday for 3 weeks and plants survived brilliantly! Good luck! **Q: Can someone confirm how many grams are in a scoop? Just take a scoop and weigh it please.. be good to know roughly how many scoops per pack you get!** A: Thank you for your enquiry, the scoop holds 10g ## Frequently Bought Together - Westland Water Saving/Retention Gel, 250 g - Miracle-Gro Continuous Release All Purpose Plant Food, 900G, White - Miracle-Gro Moisture Control Water Storing Gel for Pots & Baskets, 200g --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.be/products/48237302-westland-water-saving-retention-gel-250-g](https://www.desertcart.be/products/48237302-westland-water-saving-retention-gel-250-g) --- *Product available on Desertcart Belgium* *Store origin: BE* *Last updated: 2026-10-06*
