People now no longer had to pay 100-250+ at the opticians to get a pair of reading safety glasses. Review: Overall first impression is impressive. - First impressions are good as they look and feel well made. The neck cord is particularly substantial with a large adjusting ball on it, ideal for big fingers. The lenses are good for reading, though not quite as good as my prescription glasses, but then these are a fraction of the price and primarily for use as safety glasses. Best focusing area is in the middle of the lenses. The curved nature of the lenses distort the view though its only really noticeable when looking at my iPad screen, it looks a little concave, the sides diverge upwards and the keyboard gets more narrow the nearer it gets to me, which is all a little weird. I bought these primarily to take with me when I go fishing as they stay firmly on my head while Im looking down and are more likely not to break when they are in my bag. The lenses are anti-fog and it works, as I tested them while cooking with steamy saucepans. I think I will prefer using these rather than my prescription safety glasses (they have a lens that falls out, loose hinges on the arms, plastic ear cover pieces that have come off the ends of the arms and a neck cord that keeps falling off). The only downside to these safety reading glasses is that they don't come with a bag or case, so I will have to find one.

**Q: Hi, are these readers full or bifocal - voltx 'constructor' safety readers (clear +1.5 dioptre) full lens reading safety glasses ce en166f certified**
A: Hi 2/3rds At 1.5 and only the peripheral at normal none magnify  That's what mine are but I got yellow. Great for doing work on grinder and looking close up without stcking your head in.Hope this helps

A: They will be available in Yellow, Smoke and Clear Mirror from feb 2019

**Q: can you use them for airsoft?**
A: Yes

**Q: I bought these as they have a Dioptre of +2.0 but the focal length is about 250mm. Isn't the focal length of a dioptre +2.0 =500mm? Please explain?**
A: The standard focal length is set at 30cms. So if looking further than this  you will not need as much reading power and vice versa

First impressions are good as they look and feel well made. The neck cord is particularly substantial with a large adjusting ball on it, ideal for big fingers. The lenses are good for reading, though not quite as good as my prescription glasses, but then these are a fraction of the price and primarily for use as safety glasses. Best focusing area is in the middle of the lenses. The curved nature of the lenses distort the view though its only really noticeable when looking at my iPad screen, it looks a little concave, the sides diverge upwards and the keyboard gets more narrow the nearer it gets to me, which is all a little weird. I bought these primarily to take with me when I go fishing as they stay firmly on my head while Im looking down and are more likely not to break when they are in my bag. The lenses are anti-fog and it works, as I tested them while cooking with steamy saucepans. I think I will prefer using these rather than my prescription safety glasses (they have a lens that falls out, loose hinges on the arms, plastic ear cover pieces that have come off the ends of the arms and a neck cord that keeps falling off). Big reading lens help ,they’re fairly comfortable to wear and don’t rub behind the ears .It’s too soon to say how long they will remain scratch free but overall it’s a good product
