Hardcastle Heavy Duty Power Cage and Weight Plate Rack

Robust! Does exactly what it says on the tin. Easy to construct, I did it by myself in a couple of hours although it would probably have been easier with two as some of the pieces are quite heavy. Delivery was very prompt and delivered in three packages which made getting it in easier as it weighs over 140lb. On the whole I am very pleased.

Seemed easy enough to assemble and is sturdy. A few bits of paint are already chipping off on the uprights where the bar has knocked it when racking, but that is just aesthetics. The spindles at the back for plate storage are NOT made for Olympic lifting plates. You can put them on the bottom, but the spacing is such that you cannot stack another set of full size plates on top as their is not enough room. Full sized plates also jutt out into the lifting area and can get in the way of a loaded bar which is a bit of a pain. So if you use metal plates that are smaller it will be great for you. If you want something that will store your full sized plates neatly - keep looking. I'll add some photos to illustrate my point

Purchased this cage as part of a home gym set-up; the rack feels solid when loaded with ~220kgs of plates; and me (~100kgs) hanging from the pull up bar. (Be sure to retighten the bolts after about a week of use; once the rack has had time to settle).The one thing I’d like to improve is the adhesive rubber strips on the safety rails and J-Cups; they come unstuck at the edges at times... but nothing major.

This is simply the best construction. It will do everything I want it to do and so strong and sturdy. So excited to be setting up my own home gym !

This is a fantastic Squat Rack. Heavy duty but relatively light. I managed to assemble this on my own quite easily.

Really well made, heavy duty piece of kit, will last forever I’m sure.

Very Impressed.....I could tell by the weight of the boxes it arrived in this squat rack was man enough for the job.Really easy to assemble, solid and when I say Solid I really mean well built.Yes there are cheaper items on the market, but you get what you pay for........This holds all my weight plates, it does not rattle or shake when putting down a loaded bar.I did have to buy a longer bar 6ft.Really pleased.
