However you're going to reduce its lifespan. The frame is coated, it's the nuts and bolts that will corrode. You'd certainly want to check it regularly. Unfortunately one of the top arms (they are called right and left but look identical when correctly made) had the metal plate welded to the wrong end which meant it did not fit. I e-mailed the seller through Amazon who asked for photos which they forwarded to the manufacturer and asked them to send a replacement part. They did and within 4 dyas of noticing the part was manufactured incorrectly the new part had arrived. Shame that it was made incorrectly in the first place but the system in pace to have it replaced worked very well. I have now read the other reviews and realise that despite the 4 uprights being called the same there are 2 different pairs for front and back and fortunately I had put them up correctly - by chance. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Superb *by O***S on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 24 August 2012* This cage's fantastic and is well worth the price. Was delivered quickly and was easy to assemble, my dad and I put it together in under an hour. The frame is very sturdy and well made. The chin up bar is excellent, very good grip and a multitude of hand positions are available to the user. There is plenty of space within the cage for squats, deadlifts, shoulder press, bench press, jump squats etc. The steel rods also provide extra safety should anything go wrong, and these can be very easily removed or replaced somewhere else on the bar. Same goes for the bar rests. Along with this I purchased the Marcy 140kg Olympic Tri-Grip Barbell Set which comes with a 7ft Olympic bar and this fits very well with the cage. Would highly recommend these purchase's to anyone. Well worth the initial financial layout. For anyone looking to purchase this I would suggest also getting some floor mats to put inside the cage.
