If that’s what you mean by edge. Just be careful that handles don’t get broken. I just leave mine in the oven. You can put in dishwasher as well. **Q: The video shows a raised edge around the stone but the photos do not show a raised edge. Can anyone confirm which is correct? Thanks.** A: No raised edge. But, OMG Stone is dishwasher safe. After use, I just rub lightly with wet paper towel and then put in dishwasher. No scrubbing. Cleans, shines: the best! We have ended up using the bottom of the bread cloche for pizza. It's very similar. It does not let anything stick to it, heats evenly, looks handsome.My advice is to buy the cloche and you'll have a more versatile piece of bakeware for the money.
