bar would probably be more useful these days
Bought to stop a Mira Infuse shower squealing. Installed in the cold feed pipe, worked perfectly. Comes with 22mm compression fittings and adaptors to reduce to 15mm, which I needed. Used jointing compound on all the sealing surfaces and no leaks. Pressure gauge shows psi, bar would probably be more useful these days. The factory pressure setting is 3 bar, used the centre screw to reduce pressure to 1.5 bar which stopped the shower squealing. The instructions appear to say: adjust the pressure with the water turned off, that doesn't make sense to me, I made the adjustment with the water flowing, then the gauge shows the output pressure.

Can be used for 15 or 22mm pipes
Worked well and didn’t leak

Nice piece of engineering.
Does its job very well and a nice clear pressure display. Good value.

Not fit for purpose
This is the second one of theses valves i have purchased in 18 months. The latest one only installed in May and already destined for the bin.Valve fluctuates between 40 and 60 psi when water running making a horrendous sound in the pipes. The replacement valve will be purchased from my local merchant and i will willingly pay the extra. Not worth all the grief installing one after such a short period of time.

Excellent kit that lacks some instructions!
Easy to install and accurate. One negative was that there were no instructions as to which way round the 22mm to 15mm reducers were fitted. I purchased a soldered 22mm>15mm reducer and put in place a small 22mm > 15mm spool piece. As a result I have two 22mm to 15mm inserts that I still don't know how to use!

Not great but does function when installed
You have to solder to install the reducers and tighning requires a lot of force. If you can install it then works well.

Quality problem
The item arrived on time as expected. The reducers to allow the PRV to connect to 15mm copper pipe were not the correct size and were unusable. I had to go to my local plumbers merchant to get ones that worked but I still needed to use PTFE tape to stop the 22mm nuts from leaking. You get what you pay for and this product proved the point. Time will tell if the PRV does its job.

Resolved a roaring tap despite being supplied without instructions.
This is the second of these valves that i have fitted in the house. The first was on the loft coldwater tank for the central heating. The second was on the cold supply to the bathroom basin. The mains pressure is very high but the hot water pressure very low and so it was hard to get a blend of both in the mixer tap. Add in that the tap made a very loud roaring noise when the tap was turned on for cold water. Fitting was straight forward. I used the supplied 22mm to 15mm reducers to hook up to my pipes. It took two attempts to fit the gauge as the large nuts on each end of the unit had to be tightened so tight, almost to the point that I though it was going to strip the thread, before it made a water tight seal on the 15mm pipe. A bit of PTFE tape on the threads to the gauge finished the job. The pressure was simple to set up, i just turned the cold water on and screwed the adjuster on the gauge towards the minus sign until the water was flowing at an acceptable rate. If it had been supplied with instructions it would have been 5 stars.
