Corona Mexican Pine Sideboard 2 Drawers & 2 Doors Rustic Design

Once assembled I am very happy with this product, and it is exactly as described, being of good quality for the price. Assembly isn't difficult, but it helps if you're experienced at assembly of flat-packed furniture and you MUST read the pictorial instructions very carefully- some of the print is a bit small, and there are many parts involved. I decided to assemble the unit in two sessions and without any time constraints. It took about 4 hours in total because it would have been easy to make a mistake, and it's not easy to dissemble a glued joint! The accessories, hinges, screws etc are very clearly marked in order to identify them with the assembly instructions. Recommended but if you haven't assembled furniture before I recommend getting someone to help who does have that experience. In summary, quality and price is better than IKEA products but assembly is more difficult, but for that you get something much stronger than an IKEA item.

Quick delivery, amazing product. Everyone thinks we have spent at least £200 on this. I think you get the value because you have to fit it together yourself. It took around two hours but to be honest if you are patient it goes together really well. We ordered more and once we were familiar with how they fix together we were much quicker. Excellent quality solid wood. I agree some parts weren't labelled but if you study the pictures it is very straight forward, we stuck our own labels on once we worked out the pieces. We will definitely be buying more in the future, it's made our room look quality with Al the matching products. Fantastic, really pleased. The wood is not yellowy so it looks like oak.

Great size ideal for my DVDS. Easy to assemble, did have some damage to top of cabinet,my partner fixed it. Not bad for the money.

Nice unit. Sturdy and decorative. Bit disappointed with the grooves on the top surface panel as it appears the tool that was used to make the groves butchered it. But it's.. Passable. Not really noticeable unless you've got an eye for detail, which unfortunately I do. However.. The 5-star is not just for the product. The customer service reps that we were in contact with from AGTC Ltd were outstanding. 'Glaiza' and 'Gerard'. Extremely helpful with our mix up and when Yodel damaged the items in transit etc. they both kept us in the loop every step of the way and were unbelievably responsive!!! Almost felt bad half the time when I didn't respond to their emails as quick as they did ours! They were amazing! Best customer service I've ever received by far! Thank you guys!

This is beautifully constructed and nicely finished. The construction was simple with very clear and easy to follow instructions. The screws and parts are labeled, so no guessing games as to what screw goes in what piece. The product is quite heavy when finished so should have two people to move it safely although one relatively strong person can move it on their own, I would advise against it. The slightly aged finish of the item, and the cast iron appearance of the handles and hinges add a nice aspect to this piece when it's finished. The drawers are quite slim, so won't take a great deal to fill them, but the space inside behind the doors is more than adequate for most purposes. When finished, the unit looks extremely attractive and complements any area that you decide to place it in.

This is a lovely sturdy piece of furniture. The slight downside is that the instructions are diagrammatic rather than written and relied on the parts being numbered. Though all the accessories, screws and hardware were lettered only two of the pieces were numbered but ok once one got the hand of what was what. Took one person with one studying the instructions 4 hours to assemble. Extremely sturdy, far better than the average self assembly stuff and excellent value for money.

Mostly happy, it looks great and happy I purchased, have 2 sets of 3 nest tables, 1each sideboard double and triple as well as a coffee table, Negative is flimsy bottoms to drawers (not wood), and overall thinness of wood, also note this is softwood, it takes very little to leave an indent in the product, Assembly took around 2 hours for the double sideboard, now experienced the triple sideboard only took 1.5 hours, the table and nests only took about an hour each if that (first items I built of the set). There are "marks" on the wood for the varies attachments i.e. studs, hinges, latched, etc, the instructions are not perfectly clear for a complete novice to flat pack this could prove very frustrating and maybe even impossible to assemble. I used a drill set on the lowest ratchet setting to assemble with the need to increase this for a handful of screwing points as some where harder to assemble than others (note this is machine made with no consideration to the finished item, (ie screws set to go into noughts in the wood, even had dowel holes that ended up with the wood breaking off (thankfully this was in a hidden place and did not interfere with the strength of the assembly, Note I used a staple gun to put the backs on the sideboards which would have been significantly faster and more secure than the nails supplied, highly recommend this, again a bit disappointed that the backs like the drawer bottoms are not solid wood, otherwise this would have rated a 5 star The handles are visually lovely but are not the easiest to fix (alignment versus tight without twisting the rings) which do NOT have the most satisfying feeling of strength to them, also each ring is I guess cast, with bits sticking out where you naturally hold them one of mine was actually a sharp point that I had no choice but to use a pair of pliers to break off leaving a silver bit showing on an otherwise black handle. The drawers (rails etc) on the sideboards are much better construction than the table filling the depth of the unit and set on runners that keep the drawer level even when fully opened, the table unfortunately seems to have the same size drawer as the sideboards but of course this means it only covers about 3/4's of the depth available and the "guides" for the drawer are inadequate providing support below the drawer only, meaning a fully opened drawer tips considerably downwards and a recipe for early damage, I used a few of the packing pieces of wood to create a runner that drops onto the top of the back of the drawer that at least holds an empty drawer level but I know this will not be strong enough to support any real weight, it is a shame the table does not have drawer runners like the sideboard units, I also used a piece of the packing material to create a stopper for the drawer otherwise when closing it, it will push past the front of the opening an disappear into the table, clearly the design element of the table fell a bit short. I assembled the drawers all the same way (aligning the sides to the base of the front as the face is deeper than the sides by a couple of mm) On the double sideboard this resulted in one drawer not sitting in the hole squarely one side high and the top touching (the runners cut into the sides clearly have insufficient tolerance that allows for this issue. I unscrewed the face on one side and re-attached marginally lower that allows it to close but you can still see its not fully squared up, unfortunately the groves for the base of the drawer are also not accurate so there is a limit as to how far you can adjust this and for mine I am at the limit with the base touching the top of one grove and the bottom of the other so cannot change this any more, would have to dress this grove with a router to properly fix it (not bad enough for me to be bothered to do that) I see why in the instructions it advises against power tools as the holes that are made in the wood for the screw points are also not accurate so you have a fair amount of variance in just how far a screw will go into the other piece, at least 3 of these holes the small amount of wood "holding" the screw actually snapped off and for about 6 crushed considerable before a tight fix was met (in 2 cases the screw actually went through the face of the attached piece much to my annoyance one backed out and the hole was easy to push flat and ignore the other not so lucky (price you pay for being lazy and using power tools), with thicker wood and or more accurate drilling of these holes and this would be avoidable as generally there was a pleasing secure feel to the rest of the many screws that are fitted. For the reduced Black Friday pricing I paid £300 for all 5 pieces and £80 for the most expensive single item, I have to say this was money well spent and worth the money paid, at full price I think I would have been a little disappointed and possibly driven to return for a refund, I would not consider this great value for money but then I think generally the rubbish that passes for flat pack furniture (not in reference to this stuff) shouldn't be considered "furniture" at all as its not fit to be kids furniture let alone adult, this stuff at least feels like it will last a little while, though as I have a 3 year old I think that little while might be less than I hope for! If you treat your furniture well and look after it this product could and should last you years (recommend you buy the stain (rustic pine I think) to freshen it up) if you want sturdy reliable quality furniture or have kids I would suggest this is not likely to last any real length of time, at 18mm softwood its got a limited lifespan, it wont take knocks, will scratch and mark easily, unlikely to withstand significant weight, in my opinion its the equivalent of costume jewellery, looks great but under close examination its not the real thing. The nest of tables gave me a little concern at first as I was worried they wouldn’t create a solid feel but was pleasantly surprised once fully put together that they are more sturdy then they look, though again used as occasional tables for drinks etc and not “moved about” and they are likely to last a long time, I suspect that within a year the legs will become a little loose and the design will prevent “tightening” ultimately leading to stripped screws and falling apart so to speak, (time will tell) If your looking to max the life of these items I would suggest that a bit of wood glue during assembly on the dowels and mating surfaces and maybe some additional internal metal brackets, additional supporting wooden inserts for the drawers and replacement wooden backs to the sideboard, maybe incorporate drawer runners and additional support for the drawer in the table, and you could be looking at increasing the life expectancy considerably, we are already considering buying Perspex tops to at least protect them from our little one, especially on the coffee table as this is likely the highest risk and first major damage, honestly I have in building them managed to put a couple of permanent dents into the face pieces so there is every likelihood our son will managed to do this in short order
