Warm hands guaranteed.
The heat in a click hand warmer gives warmth in your pocket, brilliant for cold and icy conditions. They turn solid when they go cold and have to be heated up in a pan to become liquid again for re-use.A pan with a cloth inside (to prevent the plastic from melting) is needed. I put a cloth in the base of a pan, put the heat in a click on top, then add a kettle of boiling water and bring to the boil. Put a lid on the pan and switch off the heat source. When the click hand warmer is liquid, rinse under cold water and it is ready to use again.Your hands are guaranteed to stay warm.

Low cost, low heat output.
These heat pads generate heat by a chemical reaction. Useful heat only lasts for about 20 minutes. I use them to keep my hands warm while playing golf but I wish they kept their heat for longer. They are useful in an emergency. They are good value for the money but if you want a longer lasting effect then choose a spirit based heater.

Fun science but not really a multi use heating solution.
These are great as a "cool" illustration of latent heat. They contain a liquid which is below its freezing point at room temperature, but which has not frozen because there are no impurities for the crystals to begin forming on. When you click to begin, you can see the shock causes the crystals to spread through the pad within a few seconds and it gives out energy as heat. The first time you use them, the heat lasts quite well, about half an hour. You can recharge (re-melt) them in boiling water, which again is an interesting science illustration, especially for (supervised) kids. However, when triggered for the second time the heat release is not really long enough to be useful, although the crystal growth is the same. I don't understand why the energy is less after the first run. Worth buying just to watch the process though.

Heat in a click
Bought for outdoors chap with cold hands! Tried one as an experiment, works fine, heats up instantly and holds heat for about 25/30 minutes. Recharges by boiling in a pan with cloth below the pad to prevent burning. That worked as stated in info supplied. Reasonably cheap to buy too, so would recommend. Don't know how long they will last, but so far pleased with goods.

First time used heat lasted about 30 minutes but after ...
First time used heat lasted about 30 minutes but after that when re-using generally heat only last for about 5 minutes, OK for price paid I suppose.

Heat click.. for but for long.
These cute little pads do the job they are supposed to.At this price you would be silly not to purchase them. However, unfortunately, after only about 5 uses, the liquid eventually fails to work. It solidifies and you have to boil the heat packs in boilding water (with a tea towel on the bottom of the pot so it doesnt burn the plastic) until the substance liquifies again.

Not warm enough and cold after 15 minutes
This product looks like it should, but doesnt do what it should: it is supposed to heat to around 55 degree C. In reality it becomes luke warm, for about 15 minutes.
