As a rule, you should not really apply an undiluted essential oil directly onto your skin but blend a few drops in a carrier oil (jojoba, almond, avocado) etc. It should not be applied close to the eyes, mouth, nose. I find that this particular product works best if used in an essential oil nebuliser. Then, I would recommend using between 20 and 30 drops (our living-room is large and our windows ajar most of the time). Adjust the amount used to the size of the room (where the nebuliser is). I’d recommend a modicum of ventilation, especially if you have infants in the room. If you have an essential oil burner (to use with a tea-light), then pour some water before adding say 10 or so drops of the essential oil / blend, otherwise the oil will burn and the resulting smoke will no doubt have the opposite effect on your lungs! It would also be a waste of a good quality oil blend. I adore the smell of this particular product and I am convinced it is soothing to my lungs and help clear my sinuses etc. I used to make my own blends in the 80s and 90s, still do, but I also use such blends as the Puressentiel ones as I find them to be of very good quality. Hope this helps! **Q: Can i use this oil in hot water inhaler?** A: You could do an inhalation over a basin of hot water containing a few drops of the mix (with a cloth over your head) but go easy on the essential oil as you could burn your eyes if any is splashed into them! I use mine mostly in my essential oil diffuser so as to freshen the air at home or mixed with a dash of oil in water in my oil burner. I have used Puressentiel products for more than 10 years and they use quality oils. I recommend them. **Q: The description says it has ravintsara but the ingredients says it has ravensara, both of these are different, can you confirm which one this has?** A: you would have to ask the suppliers **Q: Can I use this in a read diffuser? If so what do I mix it with please?** A: I do not think it will have much effect in a reed diffuser, however, I have not tried it so cannot really help. It could work! Do not mix with anything is my advice.
