Excellent piece of kit!
Having done some research I decided on this product because it has a top down mechanism, I found others where you have to push sideways as you turn tricky and irritating. This has a lot of attachments the only one not tried yet is the juicer. I have spiralized courgettes, carrots, peppers, fennel, beetroot and butternut squash. All very easy although you do have to push more firmly down on the side of the handle for butternut squash. The collection box is ideal as long as you empty it after each piece, you don't have to do this when using the mandolin bit but the spirals tend to build up on one side. You do need to cut veg so they have a right angles at the end which makes it much easier and quicker. Easy to clean as whole unit can be washed and not too many parts, carrots and beetroot can stain but comes off easily, little knob next to blades is a bit trickier to get clean but a minor thing. The suckers on the right of the machine stay fixed to the surface really well making the machine sturdy when turning the handle. Great idea of sending a video to my email which I watched before using, it explains all the features and how to put it together in just a few minutes. Huge versatility makes this a very economic buy too. Small so easy to store, get out and set up, I tend to spiralize all my veg in one go and then keep in boxes in the fridge for three or four days. Added bonus of losing half a stone in the first month of using it!

Kitchen essential
Am delighted with my new purchase. I researched thoroughly the range of spiralizers out there. In my view, spiralizing from the side - as many of the options do - seemed wrong, ergonomically. The Cuisique Spiralizer has proven to be easy to use - you apply some pressure from the top - and easy to clean, with all elements going into the dishwasher. It has transformed our diet, ensuring that meals are much quicker to make and opened us up to far more healthy options with the ability to prepare all kinds of veg and so lose the heavier, carb options such as pasta and 'normal' potato. If there was one suggestion for the next version, it would be to allow the clear container that holds your food to be larger, to fill more of the space available; I have found that shredded food tends to gather at one end and push up out of the top - even with just one sweet potato, for instance. That is minor, however. This is a great kitchen gadget and I have become a bit of a bore telling friends and family about it!

Works well, easy to use, different functions
This spiraliser has many different functions, including julienne - slicing vegetables and fruit into thin slices, citrus juicer, grater (which I have not used as it requires more cleaning than a standard grater), and of course sprialising in two different sizes, both resulting in quite thin spirals. The sprialiser is easy to use and works on most vegetables, including potato, courgette, carrots. The spiraliser catches the spiralised vegetable in the clear container, reducing mess. It is very easy to use with a quick read of the instructions.Disadvantages:1. There is a lot of waste as there will be a chunk left about an inch long from each 4-5 inch piece that cannot be spiralised2. It would be useful to have a third size, which was larger to make curly fries etc. (the larger size is still quite thin)3. The product does not clean well and the white is stained after a couple of uses.4. The spiraliser does not work if the vegetable is too thin, however this is not a bit issue as it works on most vegetables, e.g. a normal sized carrot.5. The safety device for the julienne can be a bit fiddlyOverall, this is a great product and we have made good use of it. Spiralised vegetables create a new texture and are a healthy substitute for pasta etc.

Not the right machine for me, but don't rule it out!
There are definitely positives and negatives to this machine.PROS:Suction works really wellCuts even sweet potatoes which is rare!Loads of attachments which all store away easily, beautifully designedCONSMore difficult to work than other spiralizers I have used (definitely needs a bit of patience and elbow grease!)Blade 'slices' unlike machines with a grater-style blade, so you end up with very thin flat noodles - not a great texture for sweet potato fries or courgette spaghetti (they do not cook well at all being so thin) - as these were the main dishes I wanted the spiralizer for I would buy a different model next timePlastic spikes do not hold vegetables in place very well - need a strong steady handQuite a lot of wastage as a good chunk of vegetable is left at the end which can't reach the spiralizer blades (however does not leave a 'core' like a lot of other models)This is a fun object to have in the kitchen to make pretty additions to salads, but I wouldn't say this will change the way you cook or is a kitchen essential. Other models can be used for more than salads so I would recommend them over this one (however this is the only model I have come across that can deal with sweet potato so looks like no spiralizer is perfect yet!!)

Bin wirklich sehr zufrieden!

An amazing tool, well done Cuisique.
I really took my time before choosing a spiralizer, checking video reviews, making sure it was the right tool for what I needed. I am very satisfied with the Cuisique spiralizer. It's sturdy, super simple to use, easy to clean and works like a charm giving constant results. It's a spiralizer, a juicer, a grate and a mandolin all in one compact kitchen tool at a good price. I highly recommend it because of the good quality and also because I've been using it often, replacing 3 of my kitchen tools, less clutter in my cupboards!
