Fantastic bit of kit
Having suffered many nicks and close calls when slicing fruit and vegetables to make jerky for my dogs I recently sliced my finger pretty much to the bone so decided I needed to get something to protect my hands. I have used the gloves now with both a knife and mandolin and true to form I've had several stabs and close calls with the mandolin when I felt the pressure of that razor sharp blade but none of them have gone through the gloves and I am delighted to report that I have been elastaplast free now for 6 dehdrating sessions. I find the added benefit that when slicing raw meat or soft slippery fruit like mango the gloves actually keep a better grip than my bare hands did. I'd definitely be lost without them now.

Very difficult to distinguish the size so 1 Star less than deserved
I bought 2 pairs of these gloves (1 x medium & 1 x small). To my mind they are absolutely excellent and NORMALLY I would have given them 5 Stars. HOWEVER there is one important point that has made me deduct 1 Star, both sizes look exactly the same and apart from the different coloured wrist beading on each pair (1 blue & 1 red) there is nothing to distinguish which is which - even the size seems to be the same and there is no size label !!!. So either I got the same size or there is a simple fault with the manufacture.
