My speakers have frequency range of 40 Khz to 38 hz. How should I set up the "low pass filter" setting for this subwoofer ? ty

Start with a 50 Hz setting.  If you need more blend, increase to 55-60 Hz.  You shouldn't require anything higher than 60 Hz.  Ed M - SVS

Can anyone compared this to a nht b-12d, in terms of tightness and bass extention for music?

First let me start by saying music is subjective to everyone. Second I have never heard a NHT B-12D in person. But I have read a lot of reviews on both. I actually own both SVS models (ported and sealed) The sealed enclosure is CONSIDERABLY smaller than the ported and honestly more than loud enough. I have a the ported sub in a much bigger room, but in retrospect the sealed would have been perfectly fine for both rooms. Unless you are listening to music and movies at voplumes that could be heard down the street, either should suffice. They are both tight, clean, and defined.But according to reviews, the NHT is equally good and similar in price so I honestly don't think you can go wrong with either choice. Doesn't matter where it comes from - the build quality is outstanding.  I don't believe you can find a better (even comparable) price/performance mix. You'll need to spend $500+ more to match the SB2000 sound quality - so spend the extra $100 for the piano black finish - so fine...

Can someone help me please , on the back  see line in red white for receiver reception ,where does line out rca go to ? what does it supply ?

The SB-2000 has L/R line level inputs (use one for AV receiver applications).  The SB-2000 also has L/R line level outputs.  These are high-passed at 80 Hz (12 dB/octave).The line level outputs would only be used in a 2 channel stereo application (i.e., not an AV receiver or surround sound processor) with no digital bass management.  The line level outputs are used to filter the bass <80 Hz from the connected loudspeaker amplifier and loudspeakers.Ed M - SVS
