Excellent little box. Had cancelled sky subscription due to ever increasing costs. Friends kept telling us about these so spent a long time reading reviews on all the different makers and suppliers. This one was very positive, slightly dearer than others but wanted to make sure i got a reliable box (not a fake). What did we do without it. We watch alot of football (main reason for wanting a box) didnt let us down. Sky sports, bt plus all the american channels that screen football. Plus every sport you could wish for in loads of languages!!! You do need to persevere to get a good streaming on some channels but found excellent streaming thru zem tv. Watched a couple of films as well. Great picture and all the latest movies. Service/delivery fast. So pleased i have just ordered another box for my in laws. Arrived this morning much earlier than predicted delivery time....excellent....thank you for this. i think you really do get what you pay for. Would highly recommend

Comes with nothing loaded that you can actually use, Key pad is intermittent, instruction included were not correct to down load ares project. Nothing on this seems to work. You will need to be very experienced to get anything to work. Spent all evening loading the software and can only access YouTube. Certainly not for most people.Comes with Sling TV that does not work in this country (according to the message when I tried to use).So many options not in any logical layout.

The smart TV box is very good, my only issue is that it will switch off via the remote but will not switch on again via the remote, you have to switch it on again by turning off the power supply and back on again.

A great little piece of kit, quick to set up and easy to use. Like most TV Boxes, some of the Apps fail from time to time but I'd prefer this box over many others. The Ergonomic Keyboard is a huge help and makes for much easier navigation. Although the box is pre-loaded with many viewing options, you can find numerous videos on other sites about how you can easily add others to extend your library. More than likely buying another for my Daughters room, if doing the same yourself, there are some adult sites pre-loaded but these can easily be removed in seconds.

I bought this android box on the strength of the posted reviews and that it had a good remote control. I paid £56. I should have just bought the TV box unit separately & the remote from another supplier. Firstly,everything was going fine. The install was easy & it was up & running in 20mins. Once I started to use the apps like Kodi I could see the rot setting in. Channel 1 was not working & almost all the others weren't either. Some smut channels along with Internet access work fine. Within 2 days the remote keyboard stopped working even after several re-boots & connection checks. I then purchased Rii air mouse on Amazon & it works like a dream. If only I could get Channel 1 & almost all the others to work it would be fine. Buy your TV box on it's own with no accessories. Then an air mouse from a different supplier. I could have saved myself £30 if I had followed my own advice!? I was hasty & foolish with this purchase. Learn from my mistake & I won't feel so stupid. Happy shopping everyone.

April 9th 2016TRONIC SMART TV BOX REVIEW.I have used 4 similar types of these devices and although comparisons are somewhat anecdotal, I am going to make some comparisons on that basis.Good Points:The strength of the wireless broadband receiver on this box seems better than contemporary models that I have tried, and this is vitally important. Although the mini QWERTY wireless keyboard is the same as cheaper models, the main remote is of superior quality. The box itself also has extra USB connections than most other models, handy should you need them?Bad Points:The software installed on the box is below par, even the cheapest boxes available have scored better. These streaming boxes are the best thing since sliced bread, but to utilise this boxes potential is going to take a software makeover if the full potential of the mighty KODI and its add-ons is going to be realised. I also had some configuration issues with the screen on this box, unlike other cheaper boxes. The problem was that when for instance, opening Google search and part of the page was off the screen even though android browser had been selected in the advanced web browser settings and I haven’t had this problem with other boxes. There is also the issue that like all of the other boxes I have tried, the system update does not work and I have yet to resolve this issue. Also on the home page most of the installed apps do not work, even if they did it is unlikely you would ever use them as better alternatives are available.Your issues may not be the same as mine, you may be perfectly happy with the setup that exists? The good news is that the box is worth the money, but Kodi should have most of its add-ons and links working (about 90%) and my box didn’t, and here is how I sorted my box out to my liking.Once connected to wireless, go on broadband speed checker ([...]) keep moving your box until you find the position that gives you the strongest signal. Log into your router (internet search or contact your I.S.P for details) click on the wireless tab/channel/ and unclick automatic (12 channels available, automatic only scans 3) go through each channel doing a speed check until you find the fastest channel and then save it and log out.Home page/setting/display/screen resolution –by default 1080 is selected but mine was 720 so I needed to change it manualy-720 50hz (50hz= U.K- 60hz= U.S).Then move to –settings/display/screen position-I had to zoom out to 88% so that the whole web page was visible. Make a Google search for downloading “Aptoide” this will download programs without the need for the goggle play- store. Once downloaded, search Aptoide for: BBC- media player, BBC-iplayer, ITV home hub, VLC player etc.Delete programs on your home page that either you do not want, or do not work (settings/apps /scroll down to the selected app,click on it,and select the option to uninstall) Now here comes the big one: I have tried most of the Kodi builds and in my opinion the Hyper TT build is, at this moment in time, the best (subjectively speaking).Follow this tutorial and get it installed ([...]).The first couple of times when you open it may crash (do not panic) open it up and leave it for a while and let it update the software, and after that-AWESOME –NOW YOUR COOKING ON GAS.

good service, quick delivery, installed and working perfectly last couple of days, havent had any issues with freezing and i have basic broadband speed, just watch the videos on youtube how to add channels, streams for films and that, it is a little bit technical but not too hard. Have more things to add and try but delighted so far. Some apps pre installed to thats helpfull!! Havent watched any live tv channels yet so dont know if there will be any buffering issues but dont care, happy with all the free movies :)
