Just right
Having decided to get a router I needed some suitable bits to get started. These are ideal for that purpose, they appear well made and so far all the bits I've tried have performed as expected without any problem. This set was great value when compared to the cost of buying big name bits that are typically more expensive for a single bit than for this whole set. Granted they may not be the greatest but I'm not the greatest woodworker and for a beginner or infrequent use this set is just right. Recommended.

Typical Siverline quality..........
Silverline do it again!I recently purchased the Black And Decker KW900EKA Router Var Speed 1200 Watt again at a fantastic price, and my review on that items page will atest to how happy I am with that purchase.I have made no secret, through my quite frequent reviews of Silverline products I have previously purchased, that I have been extremely satisfied with their quality and very competitive pricing. This wonderful little set is no different. It comes in a nicely made wooden storage case, unusual (and a most pleasant feature) in the days of plastic moulding. The set comprises of twelve different pieces, and each piece is accompanied by a small information sheet with the specifications and a diagram of the actual cut he piece will produce (a nice touch).I have not had cause to use all the pieces yet, but the ones I have used our of a good quality and certainly appear as if they will provide me with some long term use.The set comes with the usual Silverline lifetime guarantee, as long as it is registered online within thirty days of purchase. It should be noted that this set is 1/4", to go with my 1/4" Router; but there are also 1/2" sets available (to be used with the 1/2" Routers!).Well done Silverline.

All in all. An excellent product in a badly finished storage box! Be careful removing the routing bits. Not children/women safe
These bits worked perfectly. The price is excellent. I am routing cavities in electric guitar/bass bodies for pick ups and these work great.I would have given 5 Stars but the retaining sockets they fit it have plastic collects that hold the bits tightly. The box they came is is fine. While the wooden retainng pieces are not ok. The shank ofthe bits are protected with a hard drying grease. Trying to remove the first bit I severly gashed my hand. The wood inside holding the bits is also extremely flimsy. I used a drop of baby oil on all the rest. The smallest amount worked and just levered the bits out one at a time and cleaned them. This solved the danger problem.I then superglued in situ the retaining wood that accomodates the bits for storage. It's no longer dangerous to remove the bits!

Does what it says on the box - a cut above
Having an older router with missing bits, I decided that I needed a low priced (cheap) set to help me channel my creative streak. OK perhaps not that creative but I needed to rout a few simple bevels, edges and holes. This set certainly has the right amount and variation of bits to fulfill most DIY jobs. Does the job, bits stay sharp and a half decent box to take up more shelf space. If your looking for a router to access the internet or improve your range this is not for you, however if you are looking for a value for money and fancy a bit this is certainly worth your consideration.

Cheap “starter” set
Not a bad product if you’re new to routing. Comes in a neat little box with plenty of options. However you can tell that they’re cheap as the blue coating flakes away almost instantly! They’ve been fine to practice with but now I will be looking for a better set.

Router bits
Included in the box was an assortment of bits, each with their own place together with images of what shape they would produce. Each bit had two tungsten carbide tips (TCT), which could be used to cut a number of materials. I fitted one of these bits into my router and cut a freehand circle of two foot diameter circle in a piece of wood that had been previously assembled, glued and marked out, with no problem whatsoever. The other bits will come in handy as more projects come to light. They were inexpensive and have already proved that at this price the set was good value for money. These came complete with a sturdy wooden box, which should protect the tips from damage should they accidentally drop onto the floor.

Nice Sharp blades
Product is decent enough for soft woods and cut well without tearing or splitting the wood.See how they hold up with longer working time....The only thing I found tricky was removing them from there holders as they are quite small and the holder quiet tight fitting. nice little case which keeps them altogether.all in all cannot argue at the price.

Cheap, so quality will suffer
As a carpenter with a penchant for quality I cannot give silverline products a 5 star review, but for the price you can’t really complain about the quality too much. If you want much more than a small amount of use out of a blade then you will need to spend more, however for my little one off they’re ok. Delivery was prompt, no damage, and whilst I have yet to use all the bits, they do work.

So Naja!
Habe dann den Original Fräskopf vom Twist a Saw genommen.
