Effective and well priced.
I've had these lights up for a week now and am pleased with the way they perform. Simple to put up, just two screws. The light they give off is good enough to see your way around, get a key into a keyhole etc, a cool white light. I bought the four-pack and put two at the front of my house and two at the back which is easily sufficient. Even the limited amount of winter sunlight seems enough to keep the battery charged. The motion sensor reacts well, the light stays on for about 30 seconds if there's no further movement but will stay on if you (or someone else) is moving around within range. Do read the instructions and be careful when opening the packet of fixings, the pin used to turn them on/off is very small and easily lost (though a sewing needle will do if you misplace the original.) Obviously I will have to see how they last, maybe update this review a year down the line, but thus far I am pleased with these for the money and would recommend them.

Small, bright light in strong weatherproof frame; motion sensing & self-charging even on dull days.
Excellent product, even on dull days. Light bright enough for key-hole finding etc. Can't say yet how durable, but seems well and simply constructed. Easy access to rechargeable battery if that eventually fails. So far it's surviving strong winds and rain on the Wild Atlantic Way. For the price of a bulb you get a complete, self-sufficient external motion-sensor security light, with no mains wiring or battery issues. Easy to setup, though take care to choose precise optimum location in the dark before drilling any holes in walls. I would agree with comments that a third hole in the frame to secure the base of the frame would be an improvement. But definitely a 5* device.

Great lights but luposwiten version significantly cheaper
First impressions were "These are fantastic", picked these up at the discounted price of £23 & I'm really impressed with them, it is the height of summer so these are getting a great chance to charge. Wandering into the garden, these pick you up at a decent distance away & stay on for around the advertised 30 secs giving a very clean, bright (much brighter than I expected) white light. I have the four of them along a fence, directed in towards the lawn & it's like a scaled down set of floodlights at a football match. I would have given 5 stars except, as I was on the verge of ordering a second set, I spotted the luposwiten version at a much cheaper price, the Baxia ones are normally £32, the lupo ones were £17 but are exactly the same lights, both a pack of 4, same casing, same colour temperature, the only difference I can see is the logo.... They're almost half the price, great lights but the same is available for significantly less.Last note, they only light up when they detect motion, there's no constant on "dim" mode, you move, they light up for 30 secs or so & then switch off until the sensor detects movement again

Great product
These are fantastic. I’ve fitted them around the path at the side of my house. Easy fit, worked straight out the box and provide a decent amount of light - I would describe the amount as plentiful but not the ridiculous antisocial levels of those mains halogen ones. The single one that points down my garden - which is about 20m in length - gives the whole garden a level of light equivalent to the light from a full moon with no clouds - if that helps gauge the light level. Those in the confined path area give near daylight level over the short width. For the price, I’d say that’s excellent.Easy as it gets to install - poke a provided pin through a hole to activate, and affix to wall with two screws.

Not impressed
I bought this before winter last year primarily to allow enough light during those dark winter evenings/nights in the corridor when someone walks by. This light works OK after a sunny day but struggles on nights after rainy days. If it gets enough charge from sunlight during the day - it can throw impressive amount of light ... however if it happens to be a cloudy or rainy day - then this can struggle with the light at night. Overall ... it did not quite meet my need

So useful I wondered why I didn`t install them before
The fact that I can walk in my garden at night and not worry about tripping or falling is one thing but also I can now use my garden at night during the summer months has given me an extra room to host and entertain friends; the lights are bright and can be installed easily on to wooden fencing (which I have done) or using the screw plugs fixed to the walls of the house itself for greater security or wider scope of illumination. One thing is that you MUST ensure that sunlight falls on the charging solar panel for at least 6 hours during the day for them to be fully charged in the night for longer use. Surely we will develop better battery storage devices that require a shorter charge of solar power in the future but these are excellent for their type and price. Highly recommend.

Impressed
I have only used these for a couple of days so I cannot comment on their longevity, but as a security light they work fantastically. I bought them so I could see when I'm watering the garden at night, very bright, nice angle of detection and easy to install. Excellent bits of kit for the price & I am already thinking of buying so more for other areas around the house.EDIT : 6 months later, all still working perfectly and I did buy a second set.

The lights were well packaged and undamaged on arrival, packed into a box with accompanying screws, wall plug screw covers and a tool to activate the lights. The were quick and easy to install, and with only a few hours of daylight, managed to charge up enough to work that night. When activated, the light is bright and illuminated our garden very well. We are thrilled with the product at it's price point is does very well.
