Compact and useful
Used this a few months before writing a review and it meets the standard. I was always burning my hands and decided it was time to sort it out. Good quality and easy to slot on. Good size and grip. This is even easier to clean, what are you waiting for?

Lodge silicone hot handle protector
Seems a little loose however, I think this makes it easier to remove it once the skillet is in the oven.

It works for quick cooking but not for when the pan is used for more than 10 minutes as the heat will seep through. I use it on a small lodge cast iron pan for frying eggs but prefer a le creuset material handle cover on my larger pan which is used for longer.

Effective grip and the heat does not transmit. I have a set of three Lodge frying pans from small to large and it fits them all.

Good thermal insulation but loose fit
It's great to move the angle of the pan but of you need to lift to move to another rung it's not secure enough. Insulation wise, it's top notch.

Brilliant product! I bought a cast iron pancake pan for an induction which has a fairly short handle and heats up fairly quickly. This silicon handle works wonders. Great thickness doesn't let the heat pass through. Highly recommended!

Great for Preventing Burns
Works on Lodge Cast Iron Skillet handle. It fits okay but is a bit big or a bit loose so be careful when handling the skillet when it is hot. It does keep any burn possibility away from your hands, it is just a bit loose fitting. Overall I am glad I got this to help prevent burning my hands. If you do not get this you must use oven mitts or similar to prevent burning yourself. Cast Iron get very hot.

Essential Addition for Lodge Products
If you have any Lodge product with handle, it's highly recommended to add the this Handle Holder Cover. I bought two and never thought they would be so effective in handling the very hot Lodge cast iron products. These covers provide excellent heat protection and make it much safer and easier to handle hot cookware.
