Compared to the others here it’s one of the firmest ones and will hold up forever, but it’s not for anyone with bootay – or large men! It is also VERY high – a definite 4 inches that does NOT give at all when sat on…tough on the thighs if you are under 5’5 because in most seats your feet will no longer reach the floor. If you want small and high and firm, go with the Love Home. If you want thinner and very wide and mushier go with Aylio. I have severe bursitis in one hip, and sitting for any length of time is painful. I'd been using a flat cushion on my computer chair, gel on one side, foam on the other. My physical therapist suggested I'd do better with one that's more shaped. She looked up online the 10 best seat cushions, and chose this one as probably being the best for me. It's quite comfortable. I've had it about a month now, and it's beginning to get a bit squished. That's what lost it a star. It's still very comfortable, but I don't know how long it will last. I bought two, the other one for the chair at the table I eat at. That's less successful, but it's not the cushion's fault. It's perfectly comfortable once I'm sitting. But there's not enough room under the table's edge for getting in and out. That one's going to wear out first.

This is a nice quality memory foam seat cushion but it is very firm. VERY. I purchased it for use in my car which has uncomfortable seats for long trips. However, because it is so firm, I sit too high now to use it there. Literally I sit as high as the cushion looks - practically no squish to the foam like I expected with memory foam. And in cold weather is is hard as a rock. I am not a heavy person and of med/short height and the contour shape seems okay but unless you are looking for an extremely firm seat and to sit high, this may not be what you want. To be fair, I have no orthopedic coccyx reasons for this cushion so I cannot vouch for how it works in that regard. I should have returned it but decided to keep it for use by children or others who visit who may need a chair booster seat.

Well, it is what it looks like... My back and hip are too much of an issue but I must say that I've used it on top of my walker and it made a big difference. It would be better if it were a little wider and longer... but every body is different... however, most of the people buying this product are probably wide at the bottom and so it should be a little bigger... I'd also make the foam fall/ have a sharper decreasing angle towards the front... anything under your legs will be noticeable and most likely cut off some circulation.. I think that's one for the engineers to look into.

So far I REALLY like it!! I bought it due to hip bursitis. While I'm not "fixed" (that would be a tall order, but I have found myself saying, "ouch!" less frequently when I sit or stand!) I am soooo much more comfortable at the kitchen table (with hard chairs), where we spend most of our evening. It's firm, and the color goes with our kitchen, and I think it helps my sitting posture. The only complaint I have is that on the slick wood chair, the soft fabric slides around a little, but it's a small price to pay to rearrange.

this is a great cushion, we all should protect out tailbone regardless & this cushion helps w/proper posture. if using for coccyxgectomy, as i have, you won't be able to really use it right away (since sitting isn't going to be much of an option for awhile). note it has thickness that will force you to modify driving / sitting (like needing to prop up feet same depth, etc). If your steering wheel in vehicle is fixed, then you will probably have trouble using it in the car/ truck as i do (not enough room for you & this pillow then a good wedge is a must & good luck with that !). The foam breaks easily after time @ the indented area but still stays together due to lining. light enough to carry around. after 2 years of use I would only replace it w/the same.
