I was seeing all of my favorite youtubers wear these so I looked them up along with their hefty price tag. For me I did not notice any of the "marketing techniques" like extra visibility which i guessed was incorrect from the get go. But what I did notice that my eyes did no longer strain and my eyes would no longer hurt when gaming. Now onto the disadvantages paragraph. The glasses are almost unwearable with any headphones including my beats as they feel extremely tight and I take them off after hours of gaming with cuts. So now I just use earphones instead. Also Another thing I hate is that they get dirty way too easy their is marks on them now as I write my review that I cannot be bothered to wipe. The marks tend to annoy me over a long period of time so I have to find the provided cloth to clean them. Overall Although I do like the glasses and are something I wear every single day, the bottom line is that they are just a pair of yellow tinted glasses with a name to them. They do Help me when gaming in the sense of My eyes don't get tired and hurt. Review: Glass to reduce the eye strain - I had a big time eye strain which means headache, soar eyes/dry eyes, feeling tired all the time, nausea, fainting sensation, disturbed sleep. I had to use eye drops for every few mins. I have been using this glass for the last 7-8 years. It's very effective to reduce the eye strain and I no longer use eye drops. It takes time as your eye would have had a lot of damage already and healing takes time physically. Also, I increased the zoom in my laptop and mobile phone which does improve as well. I had issue with the plastic frame as it used to break often in the previous versions. Newer glasses are more stronger. It's very lightweight. Even though it is oversized and won't look great on face, it helps to keep the moisture around the eyes which is very important. I actually took them to my eye doctor and they measured the power for me. To put this in perspective, many reading glasses are +1 magnification. +.25 is the smallest increment, incrementing at .5 .75 and 1. So, the magnification is quite small, it just helps things become a little clearer. **Q: I need reading glasses.( X2 magnifiers ) Is this an option ? Or would i need to wear 2 different glasses at the same time ?** A: 2 at the same time or go see an optometrist and have a pair made with this type of lens. I've used Gunnar's for a long time, and recently decided to get another pair to switch up the style. I also own the Gunnar Scope model. Design-wise these look great, and I like them a lot more than the Scope's. Comfort-wise, I prefer the Scope's. If you're wearing a headset or a pair of headphones, these will definitely do your head in. Despite the discomfort, I will give them 5 stars.
