Most garden birds love these (especially this brand) but I stopped using them ...
Most garden birds love these (especially this brand) but I stopped using them because they attracted large numbers of starlings to our garden who feed voraciously on them frightening smaller, prettier birds (sorry starlings, some say your iridescent feathers are beautiful but to me this doesn't compensate for your unruly behaviour) away and spilling a lot of suet crumbs on the ground which I think would eventually attract our furry rodent friends as well as making an unpleasant mess.
