Simple, safe and effective
As a keen DIY'er, I often get called upon to help with minor electrical problems and new/replacement sockets. Whilst most faults can be diagnosed with a standard meter, it takes time and can be a faff to get the probes safely onto the terminals. This little gadget however really couldn't be simpler or safer, just plug it in and check the lights - it even has a very useful RCD tester to make sure that earth leakage safety devices are working properly.I purchased this particular product due to both the price point and the fact that I have purchased TackLife products before and been very pleased with the quality - this is no different and I am very pleased with it and would have no hesitation recommending it to others!

Good to have, just tested 6 new plugs on a new circuit.This saved loads of testing time for home job.Purchased 3 to save on postage so left one with me pal and another spare.Worth having around the home if doing DIY @ Home.

Handy for quick and basic safety checks
Seems to work okay. Obviously doesn't pick up every potential problem or safety issue - you would need an electrician for that - but covers the basics I guess.
