The sides give additional comfort and support.I like the design and colour, it fits in with any decor and looks very attractive and nicely finished. It’s got sufficient depth for a pet to feel safe.Although it looks warm, my cat has taken to it very quickly in the height of summer. This was the larger one and it didn’t disappoint. It’s really good quality, the sides stay up and the bed stays in shape. Easy to take apart and wash. People have said about the padding on the sleeping area being thin, I agree it is but so are most dog beds unless you pay a lot of money. I use a couple of grate pillows for the bed. They are easy to put in with the zip at the bottom and the bed is perfectly comfortable and soft. My dog loves it has slept every night doesn’t even snore as much which is good! The size of the XL bed is way to big for my staffy but he likes to stretch out so it fits his needs so much so I will be buying another for our living room so he’s has one on each room. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Gets the paws up from my three dogs..... and nephew! *by S***S on 24 November 2020* We have three Cavalier King Charles spaniels so I went for the XL size which neatly fits under a kitchen table.It's great quality and really soft and looks stylish.
