L'Oréal======They are the largest cosmetics company in the world. They have loads of brands from Garnier, L'Oréal and have huge research facilities in respect of cosmetics. Just because they're the biggest doesn't mean they're the best. Equally, just because they're the biggest doesn't mean they're evil. I've tested loads of L'Oréal stuff ranging from WOW this should be on the NHS to Oh my golly gosh-this is dreadful.OK? Product doesn't stand-out
I'm unenthused by this product, it really provides no particular benefits over any other run of the mill smoothing cream.I've straight and fairly frizz-free hair overall but it sometimes goes frizzy if I use blow-drying, I also straighten my hair from time to time to increase sleep shiny look so I need products to help protect from the heat. As far as I can tell this product does offer protection from the heat styling but that's all it does do, I noticed no improvement in reducing the frizz or maintaining sleekness after using my straighteners.The cream smells really nice and easy to apply, even when I used a little too much it didn't cause any major problems like making my hair look greasy. L'Oreal Paris Studio Pro SLEEK IT Ultra Smoothing Cream is not too heavy either - my hair is thin and fine so it doesn't cope with a lot of product - thus it didn't look like I had a lot of product on and my hair didn't feel greasy after use like it can do with some products.L'Oreal Paris Studio Pro SLEEK IT Ultra Smoothing Cream isn't bad, but it's also not good, it's just sort of okay.

Let's Get This Straight
Being a bald man, straightening hair for me is usually about plucking nose hair, but my partner has a lovely cascade of locks that can get out of hand. She regularly straitens her hair and has used various lotions and potions to aid her in this. ‘L’Oréal Paris Studio Pro SLEEK IT Ultra Smoothing Cream 150ml’ is the latest and it is a mixed bag, depending on the length of your hair. What is good is that you can apply it with dry or wet hair and it makes an improvement.This is especially true if you have a fringe – the cream really helped straighten this, without really having to use the straighteners. Where the cream struggled a little was the longer hair in the rain. To be fair, when the weather is not fair it will cause hair to frizz more. ‘L’Oréal Smoothing Cream’ works very well in good weather and on shorter hair, but struggles a little with longer hair after an hour or so or application if the weather is poor.

Great for adding hold to simple styling on fine hair, but not fantastic hold overall.
I've been looking for a simple styling cream to add hold to my daughter's hair when we do plaited or braided styles, her hair being so fine and soft it slips out of fixing very quickly and ends up flapping round her face and frustrating her, but I don't want to use anything too extreme due to her age.This stuff is simple to use, not too sticky, two pea sized amounts was enough to give definition and hold to my daughters quite complex style, in fact I had to muss it up a little to get it looking more natural! It held BEAUTIFULLY, her style held all the way round even after a trip in the car and a nap, and for experiments sake we left the plaits in overnight and she only had loosening round the hair that frames her face (the shortest sections thus least in the plaits) the actual twists and plaits were still perfect.It's easy to brush out, easy to apply and gives a soft hold to fine hair, if applied to damp very fine hair it will straighten if a wave or curl is present, applying this and then combing to section my daughters curls were obliterated, which may be a bonus for some but not for others who want a little texture or movement to their hair.However, it would be useless on a thick jungle like mine and the hold is just enough for a fine haired toddler needing a little help but wouldn't be suitable for holding anything more than medium hair despite its claims of super strong hold.Overall, I will be keeping this for when I need that little extra hold in intricate styles on my daughters hair, but won't be using this on mine as it wouldn't be worth wasting the product!
