Product description This is the variety of pipas that are encrusted with salt on the outside. Although you obviously don't eat the husk, you get a satisfying dose of salt on your tongue as your crack your way in! This healthy and nutritious snack food is eaten all over Spain. Although it is predominantly a popular bar snack, it is common to see couples strolling along the pavement sharing a bag of 'pipas' or kids and pensioners alike munching on them at sundown in the town square. It is also a popular stadium snack. For the uninitiated, pipas are eaten by cracking the shell between one's front teeth and extracting the seed inside. Practice makes perfect, so grab a couple of bags! Ingredients Roasted sunflower seeds, water and salt.

Addictive
Worth buying in bulk just to make postage seem reasonable. I bought 10 bags.Took a short while to figure out how to eat them, I'd seen them eaten before but there's just a feel to get for it. You just pinch the thin end's width between your front teeth and the shell pops open, and then you find the seed inside and eat that.I'd almost recommend these for people quitting smoking! They keep your hands busy! One thing though - sometimes they make you a bit windy.

Just ok, too salty
Far too salty, and I love my salt, small, not sure it is great value for money tbh. Just ok, won't be buying again.
