Car Phone Holder Gravity Air Vent Phone Mount with Aluminum Alloy Elastic Clip One Hand Operation for iPhone Samsung and Other Smart Cellphone (Silver)

As I'd bought a nice new smartphone I decided that it was time to invest in some kind of dashboard mount for my car rather than leave the phone on my passenger seat where it would tend to keep flying into the footwell when I hit the brakes or went round a corner. I was attracted to this product because it didn't stick to the screen, it wasn't screwed to the dashboard, and it didn't need something to be stuck to the back of the phone as it is more of a cradle, and the back of the holder fits over the slats of an air vent. Ideal! The price was good too of course.First impressions were positive as the box had lots of mentions of metal on it, but once opened the whole thing is made of plastic. The "soft rubber pad" mentioned on the product image is also made of stiff plastic, so don't expect something that oozes quality. The back of the holder has four prongs which you slip into an air vent in your car - you can turn them to the required angle if required - and I was pleased that once fitted they hold the phone quite well. To remove it, just pull it out of the air vent. It doesn't rattle around, seems fairly secure, and to remove your phone you just slide it upwards. The three arms on the holder move to fit the width of your device too, and they can just about hold my Google Pixel 2 in its case.Does it work? Yes. Is it cheap? Yes. Is it great quality? No. But for the price asked, it's just fine for my needs.

Flimsy plastic with a grip that simplydidnt fit my iPhone 7 plus (which was on the list of phones it should fit). Whats more the clip for gripping the air vents wouldn’t fit one of our cars at all (a ford) and was loose on the other two. Returned it next day for a quick refund. Don’t waste your time, avoid this and buy a good quality one instead

Love this product! I thought my phone would slide out of the holder as it didn't look very stable but I was proved wrong! Very sturdy and looks amazing in my car.

I’ve been looking for a phone holder for ages now, but my vent lines are so awkward in a Ford Kuga, this holder can be adjusted at the back and fit to exactly to how I want and it was cheaper than the ones that I was looking at..

Great item and very sturdy. Held my phone great in my 08 Astra. Not so good in a Golf mk5 though. If your air vents are sturdy this works great. If you can push the vents down with your hands then it probably won’t work well.My Astra had quite sturdy air vents. But the Golf’s are quite loose.

Definitely recommended. I had an Iphone 5s and an Iphone Xr and the phone holder was doing the job perfectly with both phones.

Easy to mount on the vents in the car but unfortunately wouldn't stay in place on the centre vent and kept falling whilst car in motion. Unreliable I cannot use it as I wanted.
