These are really cute however, they are NOT American sizes. These are China sizes. I wear a medium or large in Nike running shorts so I ordered a XL. Way too small. I can put them on but they are very clearly too tight to wear in public. Go 2 sizes up or your camel toe will be visible from a mile away.

I knew these were going to be small so I sized up. Im normally a medium and I bought both large and Xlarge and honestly if i purchased again i would jut go with the xl. even the xl are small. they don't give me crazy love handles but they are by no means large and are still skin tight. They are short still as well. They still fit tight engouh to show skin / wear as a costume / wear with fishnets to a rave or something. If i had purchased a medium i would have really bad love handles. But they are c ute !! really bright and fun!

I used the seller's size chart to guess what size I needed. I'm 5'4, 140lbs and I'm curvy. My hip measurement is about 98cm which is larger than the XL hip measurement, but the shorts still fit really well in that size. They will only look high waisted if you pull them up like in the picture. They look fine on the waist and on the hips, it's just a matter of what you're comfortable with.

Just got these shorts and tried them on and they fit well! They do hug, so know that going in, as the picture shows. Came fast and had no problems (rips, stains, etc.). High waisted which is nice and not too short which is what I was nervous of, but still short so just a heads up. Overall, cute, good price (RAVE FISH SCALE SHORTS ARE EXPENSIVE), came quickly, fit well, hug but aren't tight, and good material!

Rated these shorts high mostly because similar items run too small or smell bad or whatever- but these are much roomier than other metal booty shorts. That’s a good thing but they’re also thinner than they seem in the product pictures. For me that’s ok because I got them mostly to wear at home or under dresses, but if they were leggings let’s just say they’d not be “squat proof.”

i’m typically a medium and i read reviews and ordered a large and it fits perfect! i probably could have ordered a medium and it would have fit fine, but i wouldn’t have wanted it to squeeze at all so getting a large was perfect! high waisted and getting the pattern on them hides some of those curves that a plain color might show more

I am 5'5" and 135 lbs with a pear shaped body. I got the medium and it fit my hips and waist really well with a little bit of wiggle room to spare. The only downside was that they tended to ride up just a little bit but I'm sure if I got a smaller size they would have stated in place. They are cute, comfy and perfect for a festival or mermaid outfit
