Great Product for the Cost
Works well and seems to be well made.

Works great and easy to use
It goes through clay soil easily (would recommend starting to allow water through slowly which you can do from the tool valve itself) and provides deep watering to promote root growth. I’ve started to see some of our larger shrubs perk up!

Good watering spike
The tool is nice and sturdy. I had no trouble penetrating the ground when no stones were in the way. Watering works just fine with this. Watering works just fine with this.I took off a star because it could be better. It would be nice to have a drill tip or the ability to screw in the spike. It would help with things like roots and stones getting in the way. Right now you have to dig/press it in.

this doesn't work in the hard packed ground that we have in So Cal high desert. Glad it's an improved model ..

Spike Too Thick
It's sturdy and well made, but the spike is too thick for our Texas Hill Country landscape. It's close to impossible to get it pushed down far enough in the hard, dry soil even when I had it turned on to a slow-medium stream of water. We have a lot of rocks under our yard, so attempting to push the wider stakes circumference and rather blunt tip into the dirt was very frustrating. I ended up purchasing a different watering stake with a thinner stake and was able to find spots in our yard, and push the stake down deeper without issue. This company needs to look into creating a more narrow stake for different ecosystems.
