Some purchases in life are gold. This speaker is one of them. Ive had it for years.abused it travelling , doing building work , plastering ,painting. Its been dropped , battered and covered in everything. Its cleans off great with its rubber coating and works perfectly. Good size. Good sound. Long battery. Perfect size for travelling . Incredible value for money. The one sole irritation it that its a few seconds and a firm press to start up but it stops it being turned on accidentally i suppose. Def recommend.

I bought this speaker in late 2016, based on good reviews, a reasonable price, and the well-known, trusted brand. I’m writing this review now as I think it’s helpful to sometimes have a long term perspective as well as first impressions. When I first opened the box, I was impressed with the build quality, compact size, and sleek minimalist design. The front grille is made of thin perforated metal, featuring the brand name printed across it. All four sides and the rear are covered in a single, continuous rubberized coating, which feels tactile and velvety to the touch. It has an IPX5 waterproof rating, meaning it's splash-resistant and can handle water from any direction. While it’s not fully waterproof and shouldn’t be submerged, it can withstand some rain or spills. The "X" indicates that there is no rating for dust ingress, and the official definition for IPX5 water resistance is: “Water projected by a nozzle (6.3 mm (0.25 in)) against enclosure from any direction shall have no harmful effects.” It arrived partially charged, and charging it further was relatively quick and simple; just plug in a micro USB cable, which triggers a small red light next to the port. There are no other indicators to show the battery charging status, apart from the red light switching itself off when fully charged, and beeping when almost flat. The speaker can be used while charging. The battery seems to last for quite a substantial time before needing to be recharged, especially for a small unit. I’ve used it for moderate periods of time each day for several days between charges. There is no automatic standby timer, so when it’s switched on, it stays on, with the blue light illuminated, even if nothing is playing through it. You could think of this as a sort of standby, albeit using some power for the electronics and LED, if not for the speakers. On the same side as the charging port is a socket for a standard 3.5 mm jack connector, marked as Aux In, allowing you to connect directly to a music source via wire rather than Bluetooth, if desired. Next to this is a small hole marked MIC, which is the microphone for using the speaker during things like telephone conference calls, which could be handy. Along the top are the main buttons for power, play/pause, Bluetooth connection, and volume control. These buttons are moulded into the rubber surface, which is quite sleek, although they are not always easy to see, especially in dim lighting. However, as they are embossed, they are fairly easy to find and distinguish by touch. Pressing and holding the power button for two seconds switches it on. This gives four fairly loud beeps, and switching off does the same. This is a bit unnecessary and can become an annoyance, as it can’t be turned down or disabled. Connecting to Bluetooth is quick and easy. Pressing the Bluetooth button on the speaker starts the blue light flashing and, yes, another two beeps. In your device settings it will show as “Anker SoundCore”. Select that and two more beeps confirms connection, the light stops flashing and remains illuminated for the duration of use. When connected to a music source, such as a smartphone or tablet, the volume can be adjusted either by pressing the buttons on the speaker or by changing the volume on your connected device. Using the +/- buttons on the speaker will cause the volume indicator on your device to move up or down simultaneously, allowing for easy control in both directions. It has two speakers, located at each side behind the front grille. They are rated at 6W total (2 x 3W), so not going to challenge full size hi-fi speakers, but it’s all in proportion. The sound quality is very good, particularly the bass, which tends to be the first aspect to question with small speakers. Hidden behind the front grille is a spiral tube between the speakers, called a “Bass Reflex Port”, which helps air flow to improve sound quality in the lower frequencies. I’d say in this case it’s quite impressive, and rivals that of speakers possibly twice the size. All good so far. -Pros: • Simple, modern design • Good value for money • Easy Bluetooth connectivity • Long battery life • IPX5 splash resistant • Usable for conference calls • Convenient compact size • Strong build quality • Reliability and longevity -Cons: • Buttons slightly difficult to see in low light • Loud beeping sound when switching on/off • Shows fingerprints easily • Less bass sound than larger speakers • No battery percentage indicator Overall, this is a very good product, and after nine years of regular use, it’s still going strong and looks pretty much like new. What a great buy! Was going to buy a different speaker at 5 times the price but saw the good reviews for this Anker - and they were right! Easy to pair to my Samsung mobile and the sound is loud anf clear - would definitely recommend.

Maybe a little tinny but easy to connect and sounds pretty good when louder. Good value for money

I’ve only had this Anker Soundcore Bluetooth speaker for a day, but first impressions are really positive. The sound quality is surprisingly good for such a compact speaker. Vocals are clear, and there’s a decent amount of bass without it sounding muddy. It easily fills a room and should be great for small outdoor use as well. Setup was quick and straightforward, it paired with my phone in seconds and the Bluetooth connection has been solid so far, even when moving around the house. The controls are simple and easy to use, which I always appreciate. It feels well made and durable, and the IPX5 water resistance is a nice bonus, especially if you’re planning to use it outdoors or in the garden. I haven’t had it long enough to fully test the 24-hour battery life yet, but based on the first day, it seems promising. Overall, a great first impression, good sound, easy to use, and very portable. If it holds up over time, it looks like excellent value for money.

Kleine Bluetooth Lautsprecherbox mit einem sehr guten, klaren und auch unverzerrten Klang, auch bei größter Lautstärke. Bei dem Preis und der Größe optimale Qualität. Mit Abstand am besten ist der Klang, wenn man den Anker SoundCore mit dem Rücken an eine Wand stellt. Der Klang bekommt viel mehr Fülle und Tiefe und vor allem Baß. Sollte Euch also der Sound zu dünne sein, einfach an eine Wand stellen - Welten Unterschied! Lautstärke ist für normale Innenräume auch für lautes Hören völlig ausreichend. Zur Beschallung von Hallen oder großes Außengelände ist die Lautstärke natürlich irgendwann nicht mehr ausreichend bei der Größe. Aber für'n Garten oder am Lagerfeuer oder so reicht es allemal. Absolut phänomenal ist der eingebaute Akku. Auch bei voller Lautstärke und ständiger Benutzung hält der Akku wochenlang. Hätte ich nie erwartet und kenne auch nichts vergleichbares. Das eingebaute Mikro ist ein Schwachpunkt. Wenn der Anker SoundCore über Bluetooth verbunden ist, wird man den auch nicht los. Funktionierende und erprobte Alternative ist, stattdessen ein Audio-Klinken-Kabel für die Verbindung zu nehmen. Dadurch wird man das Mikro los und hat trotzdem z.B. für eine Videokonferenz guten Klang. Wärmstens zu empfehlen. Haben schon mehrere, auch schon verschenkt, auch Freunde haben sich schon einen zugelegt. Hat z.B. unser Küchenradio mit mächtig besserem und lauterem Klang so ziemlich ersetzt.

Prodotto davvero molto soddisfacente per: buona qualità audio con dimensioni ridotte, efficacia del bluetooth, durata eccellente tra una ricarica e l'altra e, piccola parentesi estetica, bel design e colore (abbiamo acquistato la versione rossa). Acquistata principalmente per sopperire al pessimo audio del pc portatile, si rivela utile per ascoltare musica in ogni stanza della casa spostando solo il piccolo dispositivo e collegandolo al telefono. Pienamente soddisfatti del rapporto qualità/prezzo. Spedizione arrivata in anticipo, imballaggio adeguato.

Este es el segundo altavoz Anker que he adquirido. Hace un par de meses compre el mismo modelo en negro y desde entonces no he parado de usarlo, basicamente para escuhar podcast en la tablet. Compre una nueva tablet hace unos meses, y aunque la calidad de los altavoces que incorpora es bastante buena (Lenovo Tab4 plus), al final quizas por el reducido tamaño, el sonido en volumenes medios y altos deja que desear, lo que me terminaba cansando en sesiones largas. He encontrado la solucion incorporando este altavoz Bluetooth Anker. El sonido ahora es de mas calidad, como un pequeño equipo de musica, es claro y muy equilibrado en bajos y agudos. La potencia de volumen tambien es adecuada para Podcast o para musica en un entorno donde los ruidos externos estan controlados. Muy buena la durancion de la bateria, la conexion Bluetooth se ejecuta rapidamente y se mantiene estable, los controles son sencillos y responden bien, y el recubriento de goma ayuda a situarlo en todo tipo de superficie. Asi que despues de dos meses de prueba he comprado otro para un regalo y he acertado. Quizas algo para mejorar en una actualizacion del modelo, seria poner luz en los controles para poder identificar mas rapido las teclas por la noche, de todas formas quizas esto encareceria el producto, y teniendo solo 5 botones no es problema, ademas que los controles son bastante grandes y estan protegidos por la carcasa de goma. Me lo voy a llevar de viaje por unos meses, y a la vuelta posiblemente añada otro Anker a mi equipamiento y asi con dos unidades, incrementar la experiencia de sonido estereo.

Questo speaker è molto bello, all'esterno è leggermente gommato ma liscissimo. Il suono è ottimo, i bassi si sentono bene (è pur sempre un piccolo speaker). E' ottimo da usare anche all'esterno, per esempio se si fa una festa in giardino, perché basta connetterlo via Bluetooth al cellulare e si può cambiare canzone in tutta comodità anche a distanza dallo speaker. Il volume al massimo è molto alto ed è sorprendente che tutto quel casino fuoriesca da un aggeggio così piccolo. Si può connettere anche con un cavo aux al pc se questo è sprovvisto di Bluetooth. La batteria è eterna. E' stato utilizzato per giorni senza nemmeno fare la prima carica. Non ci sono aspetti negativi da segnalare. Consiglio vivamente l'acquisto!

Hallo zusammen, meine Freunde haben viele Bluetooth boxen und ich war bis jetzt nicht wirklich zufrieden damit. Also hab ich mir meine eigene gekauft und die Auswahl viel auf Anker. Die Box ist handlich, robust und sehr gut verarbeitet. Der Klang ist besonders gut, die Box übersteuert nicht und trotzdem ist die Musik, wenn man will, sehr laut. Die Akkulaufzeit ist erstaunlich lang, 24 stunden wenn ich mich nicht irre, verspricht der Hersteller und das stimmt auch so. Preis/Leistung unschlagbar, ich würde das Produkt jederzeit wieder kaufen. Mit freundlichen Grüßen Patrick
