Excellent, great for keeping an eye on your pet
Important note - if you have trouble setting it up on the wifi, connect it with an ethernet cable directly to your router first. Then press the settings button on the app and connect to your wifi network by entering the password.This camera is great for the price, I don't think you will find anything better in the same price bracket. Having the night-vision mode is really useful, though it is triggered during the daytime if you have the curtains closed for example.You can program several "views" using the number feature in the app so you can quickly "call" a number to look at a certain location.I have not mounted mine to the roof but if you do there is a feature to flip the image 180 degrees.I use it for keeping an eye on my cat while I'm at work but It's also nice to know your house hasn't burned to the ground while on holiday.

Not the best
Not the easiest to get set up, I had to log onto my BT Home Hub manager and split the wifi to 2.4 and 5GHz before I could connect the camera as it only work with 2.4GHz. After that it was easy to get the camera connected to the app on my phone and the app is easy to use. However onceI am away from home the camera is showing as disconnected on the app and won't reset so not much use really as the purpose of buying it was to keep an eye on my dog when at work but the camera disconnects from the app the minute I step out of my homes WiFi range regardless of whether I have my phone's data on or connect to another wifi immediately,Having ad a response to my intial review from the team that my issues had been passed along I had expected somebody to get in touch particularly as I had emailed separately about the free micro SD card for writing a review (my original review was two stars and the card merely said that for any review a free card would be sent within 10 working days if you emailed them the link) which I never recieved, though they did reply.In the end I have given up and returned it and will continue to look for another camera

Quick Set up and fit for purpose as a Dog monitor.
Quick Set up, App is simple to use and quality is pretty good.I Purchased this to keep an eye on the dog whilst I am at work. My Previous camera's app was very buggy and flaky. This one is very simple.After check the power requirements on the Plug this one will work off of the USB ports that are on my extension lead, keeping my sockets free for other uses.Connected the Camera to power, connected the Ethernet cable, downloaded the App. went through the connection wizard, used the QR code on the bottom of the camera to connect. I like how when you connect to the camera one of the first things it does is prompt to change the password as the default one isn't secure. Then you can go in to settings and connect to Wifi.After this I set up the Alarm, the Medium sensitive motion detection is quite sensitive. I asked for it to email me, You have to go in to different settings to set up email, the app picked up the settings for Google as soon as I put my email address in, which is convenient, I don't have to go searching for the SMTP details. You can customise the email subject and the Body.From the app you can turn sound on and off, move the camera left, right, up and down for the best position. This is useful for me as I can check most areas of my room to see if the dog is snoozing on the sofa or up at the window barking at the passers by.As a Note, the troubleshoot leaflet says to make sure the WiFi is 2.4Ghz mine to set to broadcast both 2.4 and 5Ghz and it connected without any issues.

It was very quick and easy to set up using 2G

The picture is very clear and it is easy to navigate around the room. When we are away on holiday with our dogs we use it to keep an eye on our house.Brilliant bit of technology at a very reasonable price. Would definitely recommend.

An excellent, reliable camera, quick to set up, clarity in both stills and videos, and a reliable dedicated Android app.
This is the second of these cameras that I have purchased. I bought the first one to replace a YiDome IP Camera, which I had returned to Amazon, having found its limited functions disappointing, and being restricted to having to pay for the manufacturer's own cloud storage. I was ultimately looking for a camera to link up with the excellent TinyCam Pro Android app, and the app compatibility list led me to choose this model. Having downloaded the dedicated app for this camera however, I have actually found it to be reliable and user-friendly yet very comprehensive, so I am happy to use this app instead. The camera itself has never let me down. It gives true 360 degree cover and great clarity even in poor light and at night-time, via its infra-red sensors. I can pre-set up to 8 different 'views' and the sound quality coming through what is essentially a pin-hole microphone is very clear. With this excellent camera, I have managed to establish how my Hugo Houdini is escaping from his cat flap at night. I'm so pleased with this camera, and the excellent value for money, that I purchased a second one. Both can be viewed and controlled from the same app interface.
