I came across the donut while looking at ordinary cushions, it caught my eye as it was recommended for wheelchair users in text. As a wheelchair user with no use in my legs I spend long spells of time in it. It's very comfortable, it eases pressure from your body. As it improves my poor posture , because it keeps me upright, I am really enjoying it. I don't get so sore and I would recommend it to anyone who has to spend time in a wheelchair. This cushion arrived when promised. It is quite a small cushion (back to front) so you need to position it properly on the chair. I had purchased it to use in the car so need to make sure it is forward from the back of the seat otherwise it is just like sitting on an ordinary cushion!Quite soft but does the job ok.

Ordered the cushion for my Mum following a hip operation. She was finding sitting for long periods uncomfortable. Ordered this ‘ring ‘ cushion which is well made and I like the fact it isn’t inflatable. Sturdy, comfortable cushion for a good price. Has given Mum some relief from a numb bum!

I bought 3 types of donuts and seat cushions for piles. This looks one of the best and well made but was the least effective. I flatten the cushion when I sit on it (I am 15 stone) and when I stand it pops back to the original position, so the benefit is marginal. The best cushion and most portable was just a blow up donut, which I can stuff in a bag and also it is the most effective and comfortable if you have an issue such as thrombosed piles because it takes the pressure off the anus are. This donut does do that a bit so it will help but was not the most effective for me at my weight.

This is the second one I have bought here. The first one solved my bruised coccyx problem and the second one is for the office, to prevent the problem happening again. My colleague sat on this new one and was surprised at how comfortable it was. I know we shouldn't bothered about these things, but the cover makes it very discrete and on my new black office chair, it actually looks quite cool.

Well made, good quality but not fit for our intended purpose.Was purchased to try ease discomfort from my bed-bound Moms bottom but it was hard and the hole in the middle wasn't big enough for her butt to balance through. And, she hasn't got a big butt. She's a petite and frail lady.

Well made, super for my lower back pain. I ordered this item and it arrived in less than 24 hours! The seller was great. I will be using them again.
