As someone who has been making cakes for many years, this is the best product along with the squires flexi-ice that I have come across in a very long time. It really does what it claims to do. I would also invest in the sweetly does it tool for smoothing icing on to mat. Yes it does take a little practice but be patient, do not rush the process. This set comes with a range of mats that could suit many occasion. I did try oven drying, this worked perfectly but drying overnight was probably the best option (avoided the risk of removing it too soon). Be patient!!

Hi Maureen here this was bought for me without my knowledge as my perception for using silicon for cakes decoraiting was limited by bad reviews of the unsafe types being sold as they must be food grade silicone. so as they are FDA approved material i gave them a try. i was pleasantly surprised by how well they are made and flexible, even for the delicate detailing you won`t get it right the first try. Getting the right mix is the key once found its easy and the results are rewarding.

Great Product and highly recommend for any home baker. The moulds were really easy to use and the variety is great. My local baking equipment and suppliers stocked a different type which was more expensive. I had already bought one from there before I bought this and yet the quality of both products is the same but this pack was less. Thumbs up for this one.

my first venture into cake lace mats. this product is at such a good price point for the quantity included. Have used them and they work very well indeed. I was doubtful but no worries. the ace bakes and comes away clean. wash well and such a variation on patterns included. recomend

great quality and range of designs for the beginner or more advanced cake decorator. i have only tried a few so far and they come out cleanly and easily, some of the more intricate designs need a bit more care to remove but it was to be expected.

Used these to make a wedding cake and they were great. The instructions said they weren’t oven proof but I chose to risk it baking each sheet at 70 degrees c for 15-20 minutes and the lace came out perfectly.
