Lead to reach tv from seater at average range home
Great length, of cord wire,as now one can be sat furtherst away from the Tv and have batman ear phones on, watching the dvd, for educational values, without having the sound on for all to hear. We can choose either way, the extension lead does not alter the sound in Any audible, way??its not noticeable, and the level in volume, seems to be the same on the portable DVD player, if the headphones, came with a lead the same as In my dark ages, there was never any reason, to purchase such a lead,as they should be long enough eith out the extra cost lol these do as it says

Works much better than another cable I purchased
You'd think an extension cable would be very similar in performance but I first purchased a Kinps braided cable for my PC to use on conference calls and the sound out to my headset was fine but it muffled a lot the speech back down the line so you had to shout for people to hear. This cable does sound out and speech back well so for me a lot better cable.

Ideal for what I needed
Needed an extension lead for headphones listening to tv on hospital treatment and sat in a chair for 4 hours this turned out to be ideal

Four Stars
shorter than i imagined but the sound quality is top notch and its solidly built

Acceptable
It works ok, but is clearly a low to mid level product, any tiny nudge/jiggle is met with a flurry of popping, and it has to be pushed surprisingly hard and spun around a bit inside the socket to get the desired result. If I touch this thing with my chair it loses sound until I have rolled it around inside the socket. The sound quality is slightly worse with this cable than straight from the razor headset cable, but not by a huge amount.Would have gotten 2 stars if it was expensive, but its the cheapest one around.Probably worse than one you get bundled with a headset for free though.

Amasing Value
I've both Denon and AKG headphones which come with weak extension leads which break. Thus I've bought quite a few short headphone extensions. These are defo the best value by a long way. Cheaper ones always very think and stiff and often have a really think surrounding to the input socket ... avoid these like the plague! There are some good expensive ones, but these are the best value.

Works
I use it for internet calls via a PC. It works well, slightly stiff but that's to be expected in a cheap multi-core wire. One of the internal wires broke after a few weeks' intermittent use, so now I sometimes have to j-jiggle it a bit to make it work.

Allows extension of earphones with mic and remote
I recently purchased some Bose QC-20i earphones, which have a rechargeable battery about 2" from the headphone jack. Not only is it impractical, but its only going to be a matter of time before the wires get worn and fail. Hence I wanted a cable extension to get around the problem. Bose dont sell one that is compatible and allows the of the mic and remote controls. This cable works perfectly and I am extremely pleased. Will it last the test of time? Maybe. But for £4 I dont mind if it lasts a year. Rather £4 than £220 for some new QC-20i's!
