Lovely stuff
Soft Fimo is great to play with and items made and baked properly really do last forever. My parents had little models my daughter made when young and she's 44 now! My daughter and sons loved it when younger and now my grandchildren love it too. The soft version is much easier to use for little fingers. Beautiful colours too. I thought this order was very good value. The first delivery got lost in transit so I was refunded and I reordered. It arrived with no problems. Excellent service, thank you.

Great product - love that it's a lucky dip of colours!
Just received my 2nd Fimo Starter Pack order. Great selection of bold and neutral colours. Added bonus that this order also included 3 x Fimo Effect! Really good quality and easy to work with. Yes you take a gamble with colours, but it's a great excuse to try working with something new. Works out cheaper than purchasing individually. Impressed and will be ordering more.

these are awesome packs for anyoen who likes making models
these are awesome packs for anyoen who likes making models. i take away one star because they are quite expensive, and usually the colours are used to create a skin over a basic shape but there is none of the basic grey for making a shape included with the starter pack. so for modelling figures you would need to also buy the basic grey as you dont want to use up all your colour to make the shape. if you were making beads and jewlery this is a great starter pack it has plenty of colours and you can mix them easily. we also had some of the same stuff from last year and we found a few different ways of using the dried up old stuff which i will share for anyone who gets a dry one in their pack, our red was very stiff. you can use isoproyl alcohol a tiny tiny amount just rubbed on and a tiny tiny bit of baby oil just rub a drop onto your hands and wipe it over the square, leave the whole thing under clingfilm over night if you can, then bash the hell out of it {while still wrapped up or in a sandwich bag otherwise sharddds and crumbs go all over the place} bang it till it is flatten or turned to crumbs, if turned to crumbs, gather it up under a layer of plastic and slowly press it down hard with the roller till it starts to stick,{ if it is still crumbly you can add alcohol which iwll evaporate wheraas the oil will not, the alcohol is a temporary melter but the oil stays in the mix and you do not wan to overdo the oil or you get a gloop} you can make it gloopy with the alcolol but when it evaporates it goes back hard and we made some interesting shapes with various mixtures of gloop however the ones with too much oil never hardened in the oven. } once you have it stuck just roller it or put it through a pasta maker till it is combined well and nice nad smooth again.

10/10!
Just received my "lucky dip". I was little bit surprised after reading previous reviews. Honestly? It's a "lucky dip"! It's described very clearly that the colours will be assorted, so you can't really complain about it.I'm extremely happy with my order! Clay is in good condition, have original packaging, there is no doubles and it's way cheaper than 12 colours at usual price.I wouldn't recommend it if you set your mind at a specific colour because for example you want to make a flamingo and you looking for perfect shade of pink, but it's ABSOLUTELY perfect for a crafter like myself. I will definitely find a use for all of the colours at some point!

Nice variety.
As a beginner I watched some Youtube videos to get some ideas for modelling. The range of colours give you opportunity to make different designs and you can mix colours for different shades.

Best buy for Polymer Clay
I craft a lot and find Fimo the best to use. It does need to be worked first but doesn't get too soft to shape etc. This actual deal is the best I can find in Ireland and is delivered quickly. Well recommended

Great for making charms and keyrings
I use this particular clay for my craft clubs. It's lovely and soft so not hard to work up to the shapes required.

Tiny amounts for massive money
If you recently won the lottery and have a desire to make very small things out of tiny blocks of hard, random coloured clay, then you've come to the right place. Basically, Fimo is polymer clay. There's nothing special about it, it's the same as every other type of polymer clay you'll find anywhere. However, what Fimo does extremely well, is charge huge amounts of money for tiny blocks size of a credit card in colour combinations you can't choose. This "starter set" is a random load of colours (and NOT all the colours you see pictured) for way over double the price of similar sets which often come in greater quantities to boot. I honestly felt like I was on Beadle's About when this teeny weeny little set of pastel pinks and blues came through my door. My wife and son then quickly went to town to buy some plasticine while I printed off the return label. Absolutely terrible value.
