Single Point Bamboo Knitting Needles Kit (18 Sizes, 36pcs Total)

I bought these for my mum who has arthritis. She is a great knitter but can no longer use the long regular metal needles. I read all the product details & reviews. I have to say that these are excellent knitting needles. They came individually wrapped in their own little plastic sleeves. Measurement is exactly as stated by the seller & fit perfectly into her knitting bag. They are lightweight, strong & smooth. Yes, I agree that the thinner needles could snap if they are used roughly but we haven't had any problems with that. The ends are very securely attached & show no signs of being dislodged. Great size for knitting toys, children's jumpers etc & would hold enough stitches to knit an adult one also. Very happy with purchase & well done to seller for providing an honest & accurate description.

They are great. However i was very surprised they were only 25 cm. Not what i expected as i am a very beginner. HOWEVER - I now use them a lot for shorter more narrow projects and it's allowed me to know the difference in short/long needles. The bamboo needles gave me a huge improvement on my knitting. I was knitting too tightly on metal needles and there was such a huge improvement in appearance when i switched. It helps you knit looser and keep your knitting quite "loose". It's not loose, but it's a lot looser than how i was knitting, which was incredibly tight. It encourages you to not knit too tight and i am sticking to wooden needles from now on for a long period of time.Also i had a huge problem with the stitches slipping on metal needles. These needles grip the yarn even right to the tips of the needles. Not so much that you have to "push" the yarn off but enough that you don't keep accidently dropping stitches or accidently slipping stitches off and potentially dropping multiple stitches. Maybe it was a beginner error i was making but it kept happening to me on metal needles. Doesn't happen on the bamboo needles. The tips are quite pointed but after some use the points are quite sharp which i like because they were really pointy and were poking me a lot in the start.

The needles are somewhat short, therefore if you practice lever/armpit knitting these might feel uncomfortable, the needle bends if too much tension is applied, and the bamboo doesn't allow the fibres to slide that easily, therefore these aren't suited to more experienced and quick knitters. They make however a very nice set for beginners.

What an excellent selection of needles. 25cm long as stated, ideal for small projects. Well packaged and with a conversion chart. Bamboo needles are a joy to knit with, I changed over from metal ones a couple of years ago and wouldn’t go back.....but...they are more expensive to buy individually. This way there is a wide choice of commonly used sizes for an excellent price. So pleased with them that I have been asked by a friend to order her a set too. She is delighted with them. We are both experienced knitters and know what we are talking about! I have read some of the reviews “they are short”.......yes they are......it says they are!......”they bend with use”..........well of course they do, they are bamboo and if you are using a 2.5mm needle of course they will bend........use your noddle!! Anyway I’m delighted with them.

ok but not strong enough

I prefer bamboo needles to metal ones and these are just the job. I already own a set of 35cm (just under 14") bamboo needles but found them too long and cumbersome for knitting small items. These 25cm (just under 10") are perfect for making charity knits (chocolate holders and covers) and are much easier to hold and manoeuvre. I have used sizes 3.25, 3.5, 3.75 and 4mm so far. The points are fairly smooth and become smoother with use, and do not snag the yarn. I like the large 'head' which gives me enough space to write down the size with a marker pen for easy reference. Really pleased with this great value buy. Each pair arrived in its own plastic packet but I have transferred them to their own bespoke needle roll :) Highly recommended.

Normally I reserve judgment because a product can so easily get damaged or something can happen early on. I read about splinters and rough wood and breakages but with the praise of customer services, decided to take the risk. I now have a fantastic-for-the-price complete set of multi-sized needles and as you can see, have already knitted quite a bit last night on my new 5.5mms. They are smooth with enough “drag”, easy to handle, not cold, haven’t broken, seem sturdy 🤞🏻and are generally lovely. Even comes with a sizing chart. Rarely this happy with a product. 🌟

I needed a 6mm needle and buying the set was cheaper than buying a single size. I was really pleased with the weight. I have arthritic hands and these needles are very easy and comfortable to use . Given the cheap price yes give them a go. The 25cm long size 6mms holds 70 sts (sleeve) using aran wool comfortably. Holding my breath to do the back (90sts). 35 cm might be best for 80 plus in aran wool weight. Give them a go..

ze zien er op zich ok uit. maar ze zijn maar 25cm kort, dit is eerder een kindermaat.

Me han gustado mucho por su ligereza y xq yo las quería más cortas q las normales me ha sorprendido su suavidad y la comodidad de tejer.En mi caso eran necesarias por qué estoy en cama.Estoy muy satisfecha y las recomiendo y tiene un precio muy económico

Ich bin hochzufrieden, der Preis ist unschlagbar! Ich habe inzwischen einige der Nadeln durchprobiert und es strickt sich damit ganz wunderbar. Die Nadeln sind glatt und gleiten gut, auch durch "Fusselgarn". Zudem sind sie so leicht, dass es eine Freude ist. Die ganz dünnen Nadeln habe ich noch nicht getestet. Sie sind gerade und sehen sauber verarbeitet aus. Auf jede Nadel ist die Größe aufgedruckt. Alle Nadeln sind etwa gleich lang.Mit Holz-Nadeln strickt es sich so viel schöner als mit Metall-Nadeln, ich wünschte nur, ich hätte das früher gewusst! Sie sind leichter, der Klang ist angenehm und die Hände riechen nicht mehr nach Metall. Ich benutze jetzt nur noch diese hier und würde schon sagen, ich habe mehr Spaß am Stricken als vorher. Und selbst wenn man nicht alle braucht, für den Preis kann man nichts falsch machen. Die Nadeln kamen paarweise verpackt, man könnte also auch die wegräumen oder weitergeben, die man nicht braucht.Tipp zur Aufbewahrung: Filzplatten mit je zwei Löchern pro Nadel versehen (Löcher etwas kleiner als die jeweilige Nadel) und die Nadeln durchstecken. Filzplatte aufrollen, Gummiband rum. Fertig ist die günstige und einfache Nadel-Aufbewahrung. Siehe Foto.

Livraison très rapide. Ces aiguilles me conviennent parfaitement pour de petits travaux de tricotage. La qualité du bambou est excellente. La laine glisse très bien. De petite taille certes mais c'est parfait pour tricoter dans un fauteuil à accoudoir. Et c'est intéressant d'avoir toutes ces tailles d'aiguilles. Bon Prix qualité. Je recommande.
