Very pleased as I was in agony.I have very bad Plantar Fasciitis and was not able to put any weight at all on my heel.I'm off work on the sick due to this so ordered the boot to maybe help speed up my recovery.Been wearing it pretty much 24 hours a day for 3 days now and can definately feel a great improvement in both my pain levels and ability to bear weight on my heel.Still got a long way to go but with this boot and plenty of stretching exercises I'm a lot more hopeful for a quick return to work.It's a quality piece of kit. Lightweight but sturdy. Very, very comfortable with quick snap fastening as well as adjustable Velcro on the straps which also have padded sleeves. Plenty of padding within the boot itself so very comfortable to sleep in.Comes with a removable wedge that goes under your toes to increase the angle of your ankle therefore improving the stretch.It also comes with a handy leaflet showing all the suggested exercises for plantar fasciitis.I also really like the fact that the snap shut catches on the straps are NOT the 'squeeze sides to release' type and can be opened very easily with one finger. The pain was due to plantar fasciitis and I've suffered for at least 4 years. The pain first thing in the morning when getting out of bed was very intense (but luckily didn't last long). I'd tried all the exercises on the internet, ice packs, and private and NHS physio treatment and nothing worked. I bought a La Brace night splint and use it on my right foot during the night. I can honestly say I didn't get anymore morning pain from day 1 and can now walk further before the pain comes back. I've had Plantar Fasciitis for so long that I didn't expect an overnight miracle cure and it may take a long time to get back to normal. Even if I don't, this brace has been well worth the money for the pain relief its given me so far. I've also started wearing it on my left leg with my foot on a stool while I watch the TV during the evening. I'd have given it a 5 star rating but opted for 4 stars because of the Velcro straps which need occasional adjustments. Amazon/Medstoc also delivered the brace very quickly and it was well packaged. He would say that he thinks it has not made that much difference. However, I have noticed that when he wears it he does not limp so much in the morning. When he does not wear it, he limps quite badly. I think you do not really notice when things are fine but you do notice when they are not. I think he thought it would cure him altogether but it is a long recovery process and it seems to me it certainly eases his pain.
