The WaterHero case does exactly what it's supposed to - keep a phone protected from damp, water, mud, etc. Only snags I found were the jack plug doesn't fit the iPhone 8, and the clip seal seems a bit fiddly so I'm not sure yet about durability - otherwise, it worked fine when unexpectedly dunked in a Lake District river!

I’ve just got this phone case for some upcoming holidays & am really happy with the product. I’m very satisfied with the look and feel of this case. It seems quite durable and well-built, and it fits my iPhone X perfectly, with the face recognition and camera functions fully operable whilst inside the waterproof case. I also tested the ability to take photos and videos with my iPhone X inside it, and was glad to find I could easily snap pictures or videos with this case. It also has a handy audio jack cord inside of the case, that can attach to the iPhone 7/8/X lightening cable-to-audio jack adapter cable, in order to listen to music using the external audio jack plug on the outside of the case, which is a great feature! I’ve bought another plastic phone case for use on holiday previously which I picked up at a shopping centre that wasn’t nearly as nicely built, and it didn’t have all the nice extras that this phone case does. I really like that it comes with an armband strap and a detachable neck cord that can be affixed to the top of this floatable case, so there are a couple of options for carrying it around and using it in and out of the water. Overall, I’m very happy with this phone case and would definitely reccomend it!

Used this for my car keys to swim in the seaand they stayed perfectly dry. Tried using the phone and it fit perfectly I couldn’t take any pictures as the touch sensitivity on the phone wouldn’t work. Would recommend

I bought this pouch to take on holiday to keep my phone dry and possibly money as well. I have tried the pouch first before I go to see whether it is waterproof and am pleased to say it is! My phone is waterproof anyway but I wanted more to keep it secure as well and not have to keep my phone out in the sun. I love the fact that this pouch does everything, and I can hang it around my neck. I can easily access it, see through the ‘window’ and keep it protected when not using it. It would be lovely if it came in different colours is the only thing I would say but it’s worth the money and my husband wants one now!

It’s ok

I haven't had a chance to use this yet, but tested it out using a piece of tissue paper as suggested, and it was still bone dry after being submerged for 20 minutes. I also put my phone in afterwards (not in water) and it worked perfectly for taking photos and no problems pressing buttons or touch screen. I will probably still be nervous using it underwater for the first time, but I'm sure once I have sealed correctly then all will be fine! If it works as well as it seems it will then it will be excellent value for money.

As far as it is possible to tell at this early stage (WaterHero are a trifle over-enthusiastic with their early follow-up emails) this appears to be a well made product which passed the 'tissue test' with flying colours since I forgot that I had weighted it down in the bathroom sink and left it there all day. I have not thrown it in the sea as yet, but I took it out on a kayak and it was surprisingly comfortable and unobtrusive strapped to my arm. It functions well through the clear plastic front and I was surprised how easy it was to carry on a conversation. It will be interesting to see how well it stands up to the rigours of boating in the Irish Sea, but my first impression is favourable.

Cheap and does what it's meant to but fiddly to use. Struggled getting phone in and out, small peice needed to close it was loose and could be easily lost.
