A must for dash cam installs
This is a must buy if you're looking for a tidy and discreet dashcam install. I used this to tap into and split power directly from the fuse box in my glove box to drive a front and rear dash cam in my car. After a couple of years of use this item has performed in line with expectations. It was easy to fit, came with all of the required cables and fuses and helped me to come up with a professional style installation.

Good product
I bought this item as i wanted to hardwire my new dashcam in my car. The piggyback fuse holder and cable seems to be good quality and fits my car well. It also comes with a ring terminal which came in handy as I needed it for this install to connect the dashcam power to ground. I tried using the fuse puller but struggled to remove any fuses from the fusebox. I ended up using another type to grab the fuses which were firmly seated. Overall, I am very happy with my purchase and have now got a working dashcam install.

Superb and simple bit of kit but read the descruption csrefully!
Well worth having in your tool box. I think these things are great. They are so easy and tidy to use. Just be careful when ordering though. I didn't read all of the description and discovered that they are actually three different sizes e.g. different voltages for use on say motorcycles, cars and large commercial vehicles. I wanted three the same for my car but as it happens I will he able ro use the others on other projects. Will buy again.

very good
I use this on my new Volvo XC60 with Nextbase dashcam. Good product, but dififcult to find a 2amp fuse for this, so I am using 5amp which is a bit over fore the dashcam

I’ve finally found a piggyback to fit a Transit Custom
These Micro 2 piggybacks fit about 50% of the fuses in my 2017 Custom, they won’t fit in every fuse slot especially if there’s a relay next to it but I’ve managed to fit 3 separate feeds. There’s no splicing into cables and everything is protected by a correct rating fuse

Does the job, but...
I ordered this thinking that it was going to be a simple job. Just plug in the male end to the fuse tap and hook it up to the box.I was completely wrong. The female end on this fuse tap was far too small for the male end of my hardwiring kit so I ended up having to modify the male end to make it fit.It was dodgy, but with a little bit of crimping, twisting and snapping, I was able to make the male end fit into the female end of the fuse tap, clamped them both together and taped them up for added safety measures.Other than the slight modification I had to make, it works perfectly and is hooked up to a permanent live fuse so my dash cam can run constantly.

Great for adding power for a dash cam or satnav and not invalidating your cars warranty
This is agreat item that allows you to add an extra power supply in your car without cutting into the existing wiring loom and invalidating your warranty. I have used one of these units to add power for a dashcam. If there was any negatives then I could only suggest that as they have 2 fuse units in the kit that maybe they could add 2 earth ring connectors and 2 bullet connectors. This really is only a minor thing but other than that I can't recommend this item enough and will be ordering another one. So what are you waiting for.

Poor mold / fit
This has a good selection of fuses for the circuit you want to add but the add fuse holders that I received required some plastic excess molding removing before they would fit in my cars fuse box. The fuses supplied were the correct shape and fit, just the add fuse part needed a small trim.If this was better quality I would have given 5 stars.
