It is a 3 point head but I don't know about stepping down for a ride on car I use it for a magic bullet (mixer).

Will this work for a u.s.a nintendo wii in the u.k?

Depends on the voltage of the Wii. The adapters take an 110v appliance and convert it to 240v, the British norm. I use them for Christmas lights that we bought home and also for my sewing machine which I bought in the USA.

i have bought rusk str8t hair straightners they are 120v 60hz 300w. Would this converter be ok for the straightners?

Mine melted when used for long periods to power Christmas lights @100 w. Better go to Maplins who sell a 120v 300w transformer. Best of all I think buy a 240v pair.
