I've been very satisfied with the performance of this pencil sharpener. It's much smaller than the one we had before, which is really a bonus. But it works well and sharpens the pencils and we've had no trouble with it so far.

Same mechanism as in more expensive ones. In fact, I see many that went from 12-15$ to over 22$. Probably good reviews helped. But, this thing is the same - the moving parts inside, from what I can see, look EXACTLY the same.
