Essential piece of kit
From leading maker - we velcro to the front of all our Macs. Never fiddle around the back again of your computer again, with three USB charging ports as well as USB connections. Definitely recommend.

Pretty long lived but ...
I bought this on 22nd March 2016 and it's been sitting by my desktop computer working with very few hitches for 8 years (so I guess it owes me nothing). Cables are not reguarly or frequently inserted or reinserted. The 3 power sockets were used to charge 3 usb bike lights - so not high drain and used for at most a couple of hours every couple of weeks - mainly during Winter. The 7 device sockets had Keyboard & Mouse continuously plugged in, USB turntable also plugged in but rarely used. Otherwise just the odd device occasionally plugged in. Basically its been taken for granted because it's just worked until yesterday when my keyboard produced no characters. Unplug / plug in - no difference and realised the Anker was very (VERY) hot near the mains power supply end of the device. The keyboard was the only live device at the time. Plugged keyboard into my even older 10 port Trust USB hub and no problem. Assume Anker has died :-)I also realised (on disconnecting the Anker completely and moving it) that the plastic on the top of the unit is still smooth and shiny but the sides and bottom have gone sticky - just like cheap usb sticks used to do.So Trust wins in the longevity stakes for me.

Well made & configured.
Well I love this item. I had a small Anker 4-port one before but one port was taken up with its own USB connection. This is going to be much better. I've plugged it in directly to my PC and was delighted to find that the electric power source cords are long enough for me to be able to mount it on my wall in my office come study space. I've got plenty of room for further expansion plus of course the extra 3 charging ports which are a welcome bonus. I wasn't worried about it being slippy or not having rubber feet as one reviewer who hated it was. I've used mega strong Velcro self adhesive tape on the back of it and with another strip along the wall, it will be out of the way but still perfectly accessible.Very pleased with it and I always prefer to spend extra using a trusted brand like Anker, rather than some strange foreign name that no one has heard of. Thanks once again Amazon for the rapid delivery.

High Quality & Clean
This thing is incredible, the first thing i thought when i saw the product was the price… However, it is 100% worth it, i’ve used this for almost 6 months now and I have never had an issue it is so clean for cable management. Highly Recommended!

Great gadget!
I bought one of these around 10 years ago and it has been great. I have several things plugged into it. WiFi dongles, USB storage devices and several other USB gadgets. It handles them all well and I've had no problems with it. It always shows me the drives I have plugged into it, no problem and I can manage files on the drive easily. No delays or anything. I actually bought another one recently for a second PC I have now and I bought one for my sister too, who has phones and lights and gadgets to plug in too.No cons.

Everything I ever wanted and more!.
This hub is everything I ever wanted. To put into one word, it's amazing, and I'll try to explain whyI tried it out simply because I saw a lot of positive reviews and had a positive experience with Anker products in the past. To be honest I was skeptical at first and was afraid of one major problem that I've seen with other hubs, which is power feedback, and power leaks. I also asked a question about this issue previously but didn't quite get the answer that I was looking for so now that I own one, I can share my experience. The box contains the hub, a USB 3.0 A to B cable, the power adapter (which is a small brick) and a standard 8 connector power cord with UK wall adapter. Since I am not from the UK the cable was kind of useless to me, but they are quite common and cheap. I got one from the local hardware store for 0.5 GBP, so all good here. After unboxing the thing, I immediately connected it to the PC to see what happens and I was impressed to see absolutely NOTHING, which is amazing! The hub seems to be completely isolated from the PC power wise. The thing lights up ONLY when the power supply is connected to it.My immediate follow-up was to connect some of my devices to it and see how it works, and it does behave as advertised. All standard ports seem to deliver 0.9 amps and all devices work as you would expect. A nice feature that I've noticed is that all ports have an indicator light, so you know when a device is active on that port, really nice touch. One remark is the behaviour of the IQ ports wich took me by surprise a bit. They can ONLY be used to power devices, they don't seem to be part of the hub itself. This means that if you connect your phone to one of these IQ ports, it will charge, but your PC won't detect it, so keep that in mind :). The next item on my list of tests was my concern about power feedback, and boy was I impressed there :). This hub will NOT leak any power back to your PC at all, It's completely isolated, so you won't see any power move between the hub and the PC in ANY direction which is AWESOME, to say the least. Another nice feature that I've noticed is that the hub is aware of its connection to the PC and will power down all devices when your PC shuts down, even if the hub itself is still connected to the wall. This is not true for the IQ ports, just for the regular ones. All in all, Anker did an amazing job with this device and I give it 10/10. I simply have nothing bad to say about it, at all. They've truly made a fanboy out of me :)So if you want a great USB 3.0 hub, and shared my concerns, this is the hub for you

It's 10 extra USB ports, what else do i say?
It's what it says on the tin, nothing more, nothing less, 10 usb ports, it does the job, and it gets weirdly warm sometimes
