Rare colour shots of a Thames Pageant with many decorated floats making their way up the Thames. There is a section on the Festival of Britain before we take a look at public transport in the Capital.With early shots of planes at Heathrow, tube trains and buses. Chessington zoo and fair are shown before they became "The World of Adventures".Suburbs are shown being built after the destruction of the war years, including road building.Plus much more to take you back to an era sixty years ago.Approx. 59 minutes.
