Focal ES100K

I don't usually write reviews but with all the fake ones out there thought I would start hopefully helps someone out. Great speaker. Sound really good a clear. Great if you got limited space. I have a BMW e93 convertible and managed to get them to fit

I'm happy with these after installing them in my land rover defender. I still need more bass so I've ordered a subwoofer but you can't expect too much from a 4" speaker. The tweeters fit perfectly into the defender as do the speakers. Hiding the crossovers is a little bit tricky.

Replaced 5 supposedly "high end option" Harmon Kardon mid/tweeter sets in my BMW G series with these (including the set in the dash), big jump in sound quality, not least due to the fact the these have proper crossovers whereas the H/k speakers just use a high pass capacitor in the tweeter I believe (a cheap and nasty solution). The fit was not the easiest (I used a pro installer), and extra adaptors were required, but the results were well worth it.

Fitted these to a BMW 3 Series (F30). Just replaced the stock speakers and added a bit of door sound damping. Didn't upgrade the amp, woofers or anything else but even so, wow, difference between these and the stock speakers is like night and day. Can now hear separate instruments, they sound more punchy and the stereo placement is noticeably better. Treble is much better (compared to the old coaxial speakers) so I set the crossovers to -3db to offset the headunit's artificial treble boost. These speakers are very musical, the mids are warm and the highs are airy and not harsh. I was particularly struck with how good these speakers make the BMW's radio channels sound. For comparison: my previous car was a Merc C series upgraded with Hertz speakers, Clarion 4 channel and Bit ten DSP. These focals, even on their own, have a not disimilar character of sound, only lacking the staging precision, volume, and EQ fine tuning possible on my previous system. I can live with that, thoroughly recommended.

Derrière un autoradio Pioneer haut de gamme. Le son de ces enceintes est à couper le souffle. Extrême précision sur toute la gamme de fréquences, Un subwoofer faisant le travail pour les infra basses. Le prix s'oublie, la qualité reste.... Très grosse qualité !

Un peu déçu du son focal tres tres tres aigu !

I was a little worried due to the low price that these may be counterfeit, but they were genuine. These are great replacement speakers for my E90 3 series sedan. Tweeters are very good quality and present great clarity and snap and sparkle to snares and cymbals. Midrange speakers are punchy and likewise deliver excellent vocal, guitar and core musical presentation. Wonderful clarity and fast, sharp attack. This was a great enhancement over my base (tweeter-less) system. I will follow up with similar quality under seat woofers and a good quality amplifier, but even with the stock under-seats, driven by the BMW Professional head unit there is a marked improvement.

Why does Amazon allow them to call themselves the focal store when they have nothing to do with focal. I thought when it says the focal store then it's from focal. I used them for a month and one speaker is distorting there's no warranty don't buy them from Amazon they're frauds!!!!! This is so depressing what a waste
