Forget conventional cloth oven gloves, these are much better
I'm delighted with these oven gloves that really do protect hands from high heat far more effectively than conventional oven gloves. Firstly they fit my hands really nicely with the soft inner lining cushioning my hands without loss of feeling. I can still feel what I'm gripping with these on. Secondly there is a really simple way to keep these clean on the outside. I simply wash my hands with the gloves on and a little soap and anything that's on them is gone. Thirdly the silicone rubber really helps with my grip issues; I am far safer holding anything with these, hot or cold, as they help me to grip. Even when my hands lock up or lose grip I've managed not to loose something I'm trying to hold with these on. Lastly these act as a set of grip gloves for stubborn jar lids. The pastry brush is a nice addition; no more loose bristles to clean off.

So good!
It's hard to get excited about oven gloves, but these are pretty exciting! I have a bit of a thing about ovens, I will not use normal material oven gloves and so I've had silicone gloves for some time now. When I saw these and the good reviews I decided to give them a go and I'm so pleased that I did. They're amazing. Even when holding really hot things I cannot feel any heat when using these oven gloves. The previous silicone gloves have also been really quite thick and so fairly restrictive as they don't really bend and move, whereas these are so soft that you can hold anything with them, I also like that they are lined, it adds extra comfort. I haven't used the pastry brush yet so can't comment on that but it looks to be of good standard. I'm really happy with my oven gloves, I'd really recommend them to anyone.

Too big and Unsafe to use.
Way too big, awkward and unsafe. Hard to get a safe grip on your utensils. Can sometimes slip or lose your grip, due to the size of them. Not as flexible as I thought from other reviews too. But ok heat resistance. Not that handy to clean really. Easier to stick a cloth mitt in the washing machine. Nice deep red colour though. Overall, not as handy as a standard cloth type mitt. Can't imagine how all the other reviewers are loving this.

The Gloves are on...
Elegant and comfortable, I have finally had an excuse to get rid of the cloth things that I used to use - you know the things, pockets of material joined together by a long swath of the same material... clumsy in use and almost impossible to wash clean. Yeah, them. Now they are binned and I am all the happier for it!These are great. I have quite large hands, and they fit just fine. They are padded within and silicone without, with little Y's and 0's as a grip pattern.They work really well and look very smart. The pastry brush that they come with is nice too. Delivery was fast and the price was very good. Win Win all around (except for the old cloth bacteria and grease hotel that used to disgrace my kitchen, they lost)

Close to Useless
Not very flexible and a couple of times I have had to let go of the oven dish as fingers were getting to hot. Not really fit for purpose and the text in the advert is totally inaccurate e.g GREAT PROTECTION FROM BURNS - no way, you are better off double folding a tea-towel, SUPERB FLEXIBLE NONSLIP GRIP - its like working with two stubs! , ONE SIZE FITS MOST - just because you can get your hands in them it does not mean they fit, way to big for most women I suggest (probably why photos show a man using then)

A cold touch
Very good quality. I prefer these over the more expensive ones that were bought from John Lewis. These are about medium size and not too firm so you can grab the hot dishes securely with them unlike with thicker ones. Despite they are not too thick I can hold over 200 Celsius degree hot dishes with them for a long time.

High quality glove. Comfortable padded inner glove. Attractive design/colour. Better than all my previous oven mitt especially the cloth one. Hardly feel any heat when handling all the baking product from the oven.Highly recommend and with its quality definitely will last for years to come
