No 1 is the slower flow teat. Can’t think why they would put the slowest teat in the cup **Q: What is the diffrence between slow flow and newborn?** A: To the people saying it's marketing, I have both teats (0 and 1 or Newborn and slow flow) and there's a visible difference. My 7wk old breast fed baby had to go on bottles for 2 days at 5wks old and on the first attempt she completely rejected the size1 slow flow after a few seconds, and we thought she wasn't going to take a bottle. It was awful. Changed to the 0 and her breathing and gulping slowed right down and she latched on the bottle then til it was empty.
