will this work with my Acer V5-122P laptop?

Jamison,I am not a very technical person, but will try to answer your question. This piece is really an adapter that converts you Mini Display Port to HDMI. I also purchased an HDMI to HDMI cable and can stream anything that I can display from my computer to my TV HDMI port. The video and picture both come through to the TV. If your Acer V5-122P has a Mini Display port than this will work for you too!

Will this work for a PS4?

No, the MDP2HDMI is a passive Mini DisplayPort to HDMI adapter used to connect a DP++ enabled Mini DisplayPort source to an HDMI display and the Sony PlayStation 4 does not have a Mini DisplayPort. Atha, StarTech.com Support

Does this go into the aux in a ps3

No, the MDP2HDMI is a passive Mini DisplayPort to HDMI adapter. Atha, StarTech.com Support

I have lenovo t430 laptop, is this cable fit for the display port? Thanks for your help!

Yes, it will work. I have purchased this for use with multiple Lenovo T430s and W530s and we have not run into any issues with them. These Lenovo's use a standard Mini DisplayPort.
