No, this is not a carb-free, far-free source of protein, and if you look at the carb-fat-protein ratio of a serving, it's a good balance, it is however, a great post workout or on the go snack or meal replacement (depending on if you consume 1 serving or 2). If you are on a low-carb or low-fat diet, I don't think this is for you. I think this is most beneficial to someone who has a well balanced diet and wants a treat with some extra protein, or maybe a snack.
