A Great Alternative to Your Usual Brand
My wife bought this for me as a little surprise because I had been moaning that I was running low on my usual brand of beard oil. Product was ordered at about 7pm on Friday evening and arrived before 2pm the following Sunday !. I tried it for the first time this morning and I am impressed - I followed my usual routine and applied three drops to my (three inch) towel-dried beard. First thing that you notice is the scent, this product contains cinnamon leaf and you can really smell it, it's very pleasant (in a Christmassy sort of way) and not overpowering, I've had three comments in the few hours I've been wearing it, and seven hours after I applied it I can still smell it. My beard feels very soft and 'bouncy', my other brand produced this effect, but it is much more expensive so this is another area where this product performs above expectations. The oil gives a very light sheen to my beard, some products can make you look like you've dipped your beard in chip-oil but this is quite subtle and that's a nice surprise for something in this price range. I've had no beardruff or 'thickening' (anyone who has used beard oil for a while will know what I mean) but it's my first day using it so I'd be surprised if I'd spotted any so soon, time will tell but so far so good. The oil produces virtually no hold, although this could just mean that I need to use a larger amount than my usual 3 drops and if that turns out to be the case then of course the 30 ml's in this bottle will not last as long as I might have expected, but when it comes to beard oil I tend not to expect control and hold and I use a scent-free beard wax after I apply beard oil and allow my beard to dry whilst I complete my grooming routine so this is not really a negative. My first impressions of this oil are positive, it performs well at a very reasonable price. I would recommend to a bearded bro' if they were looking for an alternative to their usual brand or if they were on a budget. To sum up; Delivery Time 9/10, Scent; 7/10, Hold; 4/10, Softness: 9/10, Appearance: 7/10, Value for Money; 9/10

Great value.
Smells great and leaves my beard soft and ever so slightly shiny. Reduces those pesky split ends. Great value, good quality. When I started growing a beard I scoured the internet and books for advice and found a huge amount of contradictions, so here's the route I took. It's helped some other people out when I've put it in other "beard stuff" reviews, so it might be useful to someone reading this:1) Shave your face and wash REALLY well before and afterwards. This takes off all of the dead skin and allows the beard to start from a fresh.2) Keep shaving your face for a week or two. Wait until your skin is perfect before putting the razor down for the last time.3) Moisturise those cheeks!4) Good hair needs good hair food, so make sure that you're getting all of the vitamins that you need. I started by supplementing my diet with Centrum Men and then later added some special "Beard Growth" ones in.5) Begin growing! Put the razor down and don't cut a single hair on your face for at least 4 weeks. You're going to look scruffy, so it might be an idea to time your growth spurt with a holiday or other time where you don't have to look smart for a couple of weeks. Once these 4 weeks are up and you have a fairly decent growth, you can trim to whichever style you're after.6) Wash regularly, but don't overdo it. I use a beard shampoo about 3 times a week. Beard shampoos are kinder to your face skin, which is very different to your scalp. Washing with soap too much will cause your skin to produce the wrong amount of oil (I can't remember if it's too much or too little). Not good.7) Get yourself a good quality beard oil. This will keep your hair and skin at just the right level of moist. Don't overdo it, use just enough to coat every hair. As your beard grows, you can get yourself a beard balm which will do the same thing as the oil except keep everything looking a bit neater.8) Brush/comb regularly but again, not too much. A couple of times a day is enough - too little and you'll have a tangled mess, too much and you'll damage your hair and remove those all so important face oils. Make sure that you're using a HAND-CUT comb or badger hair brush. Cheap/machine made combs have microscopic imperfections that will tear your hair.9) Bask in the glory of the manliest mane anyone has ever seen.10) Change your name to "The Beard".

By Jove I think they've got it
The product arrived the next day which I was extremely happy about. When I opened up the packaging I was presented with a red longish box, which contained the holy beard oil. I opened it up and dropped 2 droplets of oil into my palm an began too spread it around my hands ready for application. The smell at first I found a little over powering, but when I used it more than once I started to get use too it and started too like it (almost over-taking my best beard oil but shhh spoilers). When applying it too my beard hair I noticed the smell and how easy it was too apply, noticing a shine too my hair once I finished working it into my beard. The fragrance isn't too strong that it will stay in your beard for the whole day but for a couple of hours (I don't really mind this cause it's not the fragrance that does the magic IMO).It is worth the purchase too keeping your beard hair soft and lightly fragranced. One of which I will continue too purchase in the for see-able future :)

Why lt's Only 4 Stars
After receiving an email from the manufacturer only a couple of days after delivery of the beard oil begging me for a five star review I have decided to do so.The beard oil is first class, smells and feels brilliant. Would I recommend it? Well yes I would. But what I wouldn't recommend is sending begging emails to endorse a product. Have some faith in yourself if it's good enough people will say so.OK rant over. Buy this beard oil it has allowed me to fell Giant Red Woods with one swipe of my trusty axe and wrestle Brown Bears.Only 4 not 5 stars I still can't open Branston Pickle jars without the aid of a pick axe.
