Can I pump up my zeppelin airship with this?

It wouldn't help. Your Zeppelin needs helium not air.

Theres a black and red pointer on the gauge , what is the red for as mine doesn't move

The red pointer is just an aid to see when you have pumped to the correct pressure. The pointer can be moved by gripping the the ring on the outside perimeter of the dial. Simply move the pointer to the required pressure, and you can easily see when to stop pumping. Always check with a pressure gauge afterwards, because you usually find that some pressure is lost as you release the lock lever.

Does this work on a bicycle without attachments or does it need one of those it comes with? (I lost the attachments).
