World History Timeline

This chart is incredibly smooth and near luxurious to touch. The paper that it is printed on was a very pleasant surprise. The images are bright and balance the informational blurbs that keep one thinking and going back for more. I bought this as a proactive, non-forceful way of introducing the truth in our history to my three children. It has ignited an awesome level of curiosity and thought-provoking conversations that simply delight me to no end. I couldn’t ask for a better (sneaky) learning tool. In this disconnected world of technology---a place where children would rather share facetime with a screen instead of a person---I am thankful for this piece of art. It is a beautifully crafted piece marrying historical truth and modern imagery.

Great quality poster that helps visualise the main history landmarks. We got it framed and hung it somewhere both our children can easily see it. Great starting point to discuss any point in history. Highly recommend it.

Looks good enough for the kitchen wall and our primary school age kids 6 and 7 like asking about the pictures which leads to conversations about the past which we all seem to enjoy. There’s enough info next to each picture for some bite size learning. Gives the kids a good sense of history and the sequence of things. Only goes up to 2017.

I bought one of these for my children aged 8 and 11 and I have it framed in our kitchen.The kids love it and whenever they have friends over they are drawn to it, pointing things out and discussing the pictures and captions, which I think are really varied and interesting.The quality of it is better than I expected and I will definitely be buying more from the range.

This is an interesting poster that we have above the dining table. The kids (8 and 13) love to look at it whilst they are sat eating, working or playing. However, there are several spelling errors throughout the poster, some quite severe. AND it has a section at the end for 2000-2010 but includes a fact from 2012!

A really impressive poster. Great size with great pictures and information. I bought it for my niece's 7th birthday. She couldn't wait to put it up on her wall and said she could use it for her homework. Will be buying this series for presents again.

This timeline is fantastic, not only is it stuffed full of fascinating historical facts but looks great.Once you start exploring it you can't stop, I can't recommend it enough.

So disappointed. Bought this after reading the good reviews - but I'm afraid it's going straight back. Firstly, it's not a timeline. The events are grouped in blocks of time, but within each block of time they are not laid out chronologically - so it's hard work to determine the order in which things happened in history. Secondly, at only a first glance have spotted three typos: millenium, aprroximately, and pharoe (yes, really) - I can't bring myself to look further. I never write reviews but felt I had to with this one. It could have been so good, but it's not. Shame.
